The invention relates to a method of fabricating an insulating container (10) for hot drinks or the like. The container includes an inner cup (12) having a generally frusto-conical cup body (22), a generally frusto-conical outer shell (14), a thermo-sealable plastic coating (42) on at least one of the inside of said shell and the outside of said cup body. The cup is seated within said shell so that the coating extends at least along a contact path (3) near the upper edge (9) of the shell along which contact path outer surface of the cup body and inner surface of the shell are in contact and are bonded.

Impervious container (1) for packaging powdered products or very fine granules, comprising an external envelope made from two sheets of web (2) fixed together both laterally and transversely by seams (3, 4, 5, 6) and an internal envelope (8) cemented to the two sheets of web and welded at the base, the said external envelope having at least one longitudinal slit (lateral opening 7) near the top through which a mouth (tubular element 10) of the internal envelope can be withdrawn, the base of the said external envelope being stitched through one of the transverse seams (3, 4) and being gathered to form a twist at the bottom (15) which is tied by a cord (16) while its mouth is gathered and tied by one or more cords or by a band of web (17) in order to be suspended from a hook (23), characterized in that the longitudinal slit is made by interrupting one (5) of the lateral seams (5, 6) to provide a lateral opening (7), the mouth of the internal envelope (8) is made in the form of a tubular element (10) by producing a longitudinal slit (11) starting at the top and welding the longitudinal part (13) corresponding to the length of the two sides of the edges of the slit as well as the upper transverse part (12) running from the said slit to the farther end of the lateral opening, the said tubular element (10) being drawn through the lateral opening to form an internal neck for filling (18), which is sealed after filling by means of a knot (22) before being pushed inside the container (1) again.

A container assembly system for storing multiple components of a formulation in separate individually sealed assembly units or containers that can be assembled into a single multi-compartment container. The components of a formulation may be stored in each of the individually sealed assembly units while the assembly units remain sealed and then assembled into a multi-compartment container. The seals sealing each of the assembly units can then be unsealed so that the components can be mixed into a formulation.
