A motor vehicle power train control device capable of furnishing set signals of torque applied to wheels of the motor vehicle. The control device includes a mechanism to generate a signal representing a limitation of variation in speed of a heat engine integrated in a power train capable of reducing variations that are disturbing with regard to acoustics of the power train, and includes a mechanism to determine an operating point of the power train in an optimal operating range according to the signal that represents limitation of speed. The mechanism for generating the signal that represents a limitation of variation in the speed of the heat engine integrated in the power train is furnished, at an input, by parameters that represent characteristics of the motor vehicle and by parameters that represent the driver's wishes.

The arrangement has an extractor unit for a cover foil of a component belt. A stretching unit stretches the removed foil, where the stretching unit is movably supported relative to a housing. A sensor (26) is provided for acquiring the position of a clamping unit/clamping piece. A control unit (12) is connected with the sensor and is formed to detect an error condition based on the acquired position of the clamping unit. The device has an operating unit (11) with a rotary toggle (12) that is rotatable in an associated bearing (13), a signal arrangement for producing signals depending on a toggle position and/or change in position and controller for processing the signals to influence the electric equipment. The toggle can also be moved linearly in at least one direction and the signal arrangement can detect the linear movement (L).

The device (1) comprises a base (2), carrying a servo motor (3) and attached to the frame of a machine center. A carriage (6) with a vertical shaft (8) on top can be moved on two telescopically arranged rails (4,5) joined horizontally to the base (2). The tool holding elements (16,17) are positioned at the upper end of the shaft (8) and can be fixed with a locking unit (18). A control plate (12) is located at the second rail (5) acting in combination with a guiding roll (10) in order to facilitate a swivel motion of the tool carrier (15).

An electrical connector (10) for connecting an electrically heated vehicle windowpane to an external power source is disclosed. Electrical connector (10) comprises at least two strips (12) of conducting material, arranged substantially adjacent each other in a mutually spaced relationship, each of which is provided with a separate sleeve (13) of insulating material. Electrical connector (10) includes means for maintaining insulated strips (16) in a spaced relationship; preferably said means is bridging member (17). Preferably each insulated strip (16) a) includes un-insulated region (14) at one end to enable electrical connection to the vehicle windowpane to be made, and b) has a connection to power source connection cable (18) established at the other end; the established connection being housed within connection block (11).

A plug receptacle electrical connector and a method of manufacturing such a connector. The receptacle connector comprises a moulded insulating cover (1) which receives a moulded insulating base (36) carrying electrical contacts (60) for engaging contacts of a plug connector (100) inserted into a cavity (2) in the cover (1). To enable the connector to be mounted on a circuit board with the contacts (60) connected to circuitry (not shown) on the board, the contacts (60) have lead portions (64) which project beneath the base (36), the bottom of the cover (36) being open to receive the lead portions (64). Rails (48) on the base (36), which engage in grooves (82 and 88) in the cover, being provided on the sides of the base (36) and having thereon latches (50) for engaging shoulders (52A) defined by the grooves (82 and 88). In the manufacture of the connector, the contacts (60) are selectively plated with gold stripes (not shown) for engagement by the contacts of the plug (100).
