Phenology pattern data indicating recovery trajectories of ponderosa pine forests after high-severity fires
공공데이터포털
This tabular, machine-readable CSV file contains annual phenometrics at locations in ponderosa pine ecosystems across Arizona and New Mexico that experienced stand-clearing, high-severity fire. The locations represent areas of vegetative recovery towards pre-fire (coniferous/pine) vegetation communities or towards novel grassland, shrubland, or deciduous replacements. Each sampled area is associated with the point location (latitude/longitude) as well as multiple calendar year phenometrics derived from the time-series of normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) values in the phenology software package Timesat v3.2.

Tree growth data, ISSR tree genetics data, and monotorpene concentration data relating to mountain pine beetle attacks on whitebark pine at Vipond Park, Montana, 2017-2018
공공데이터포털
This record contains three zip files of data. First, for the file treeGeneticISSRData, the data consists of genetic ISSR band scores. Two sets of trees were sampled for genetic analyses - large trees surviving mountain pine beetle and 'general population' trees that we just a little to small to be attacked that served as a proxy for the population without beetle selection. Second, for the file Treegrowthdata_, this dataset includes files that record tree ring widths of trees by year from two sites, Vipond Park and Lacey Creek, in Montana. Third, the file monoterpeneConcentrationsData contains spreadsheets of monoterpene concentrations from surviving and susceptible whitebark pine after a mountain pine beetle outbreak at Vipond Park, Montana. All data takes the form of Excel spreadsheets.
Preserving Tree-Ring Datasets for Climate and Hazard Research and Understanding Societal Impacts: Carrara Career Samples
공공데이터포털
Dendrochronological collections during the career of USGS emeritus, Paul Carrara: Douglas-fir (Pseudotsuga menziesii), Black cottonwood (Populus trichocarpa), Spruce (Picea), Shore pine (Pinus contorta contorta), Willow (Salix), Bristlecone pine (Pinus aristate), Engelmann spruce (Picea engelmannii), Aspen (Populus tremuloides), and Limber pine (Pinus flexilis) collections from western North America. The Carrara NGGDPP archive collection is comprised of fifty-two cross-sections obtains for studies of glacial, avalanche, and vegetative histories from Alaska, Montana, and Colorado. Samples were processed following standard dendrochronological methods, including sample surface preparation and annual ring assignment. These tree cross-sections now require preservation. We used high resolution digital photography to capture images of each sample using a system custom designed for digitizing tree rings. Digital images obtained for this archive can then be stored and used by researchers, communities and teachers and students at all education levels.
