The downloadable ZIP file contains an number of Esri shapefiles as described below. This data set provides the spatial information used to complete a post fire inventory and assessment for the 2015 Slide Fire in Idaho and Idaho County, Idaho. The fire burned 10,163 acres within Idaho County, Idaho in August 2015. Data was prepared by several agencies including US Forest Service, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, US Geological Survey, and the Nez Perce Soil and Water Conservation District. Data was prepared for the North Central Idaho Wildfire Restoration Group as part of their efforts in preparing the North Central Idaho Wildfire Inventory and Assessment Report (2015).,

The TIGER/Line shapefiles and related database files (.dbf) are an extract of selected geographic and cartographic information from the U.S. Census Bureau's Master Address File / Topologically Integrated Geographic Encoding and Referencing (MAF/TIGER) Database (MTDB). The MTDB represents a seamless national file with no overlaps or gaps between parts, however, each TIGER/Line shapefile is designed to stand alone as an independent data set, or they can be combined to cover the entire nation. The All Roads Shapefile includes all features within the MTDB Super Class "Road/Path Features" distinguished where the MAF/TIGER Feature Classification Code (MTFCC) for the feature in MTDB that begins with "S". This includes all primary, secondary, local neighborhood, and rural roads, city streets, vehicular trails (4wd), ramps, service drives, alleys, parking lot roads, private roads for service vehicles (logging, oil fields, ranches, etc.), bike paths or trails, bridle/horse paths, walkways/pedestrian trails, stairways, and winter trails.

This coverage represents the SEKI fire history from 1921 through 2023. A separate database exists that has attribute information based on the common relate item called "gisno". This was linked to the WFMI database but that was only updated through 2019. The 2020 and on additions were manually populated and attribute data pulled from Inform. As of 2022, there was still no integrated dataset. Some of the spatial data is blocky because it originated as a GRASS coverage with 30 meter resolution. Beginning in 1996, the fire history data has been digitally developed in Arc/Info. The resulting smooth line polygon shapefiles depict fires that are 1996 and later. A significant quality control process has increased the accuracy of attributes in the 2002 version and later.
