Common Eider Blood Chemistry Data, Alaska, 2004-2006
공공데이터포털
This data set contains information on blood chemistry and hematological parameters of captive Pacific Common Eiders (Somateria mollissima v-nigrum) for reference periods and after satellite transmitter implantation. These data were collected for health assessments, to evaluate seasonal changes in regularly measured biomarkers, to assess the physiological responses to dive conditioning, and to measure responses to surgical implantation of a satellite transmitter.
Sea Otter blood chemistry and hematology from animals captured at sites between Bering Island, Russia and Prince William Sound, Alaska during 2004-2012
공공데이터포털
The data consist of blood chemistry and hematology from sea otters captured at sites along the Aleutian archipelago, the Alaska Peninsula, the Gulf of Alaska, and Prince William sound between 2004 and 2012. The data include the blood chemistry and hematology findings as well as general capture location, if the sea otter population in that area is declining, capture date, age estimate, age class, sex, and a unique sea otter number connecting the sample to gene expression data.
Brook trout toxicity data from bioassays conducted in Western Adirondack Streams, 2001-03 and 2015-17
공공데이터포털
This dataset is composed of a single data table containing survival data and ancillary measurements for brook trout bioassays conducted in streams of the Western Adirondack Mountains during 2001-03 and 2015-17. At each stream site, 4 replicate bottles, each containing five young-of-year brook trout, are exposed to ambient stream waters for approximately one month during spring.
Laboratory analyses for fish tissue samples from Lake Koocanusa and Kootenai River Basin, Montana, 2022 (ver. 2.0, May 2025)
공공데이터포털
This data release includes laboratory analyses for fish tissue samples collected from Lake Koocanusa and the Kootenai River Basin in Montana during 2022. Samples were collected by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) Wyoming-Montana Water Science Center (WY-MT WSC) in cooperation with Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (MT FWP) and Montana Department of Environmental Quality (MT DEQ). Analyses include histology, percent moisture, carbon and nitrogen stable isotopes, and concentrations for 62 elements, including selenium, mercury, and methylmercury. This data release also compiles laboratory quality-assurance and quality-control data associated with the samples.
Fire biomarkers (levoglucosan, mannosan, and galactosan) recorded in the deep Denali, AK ice core from ~360 to 2013 CE
공공데이터포털
Monosaccharide anhydrides (MAs), or anhydrosugars which include levoglucosan, mannosan, and galactosan are combustion products of cellulose and hemicellulose that are used as biomass burning tracers. These fire biomarkers are incorporated into smoke plumes, transported through the atmosphere, and return to the surface through wet and dry deposition that can be archived in ice cores. Here, we quantify levoglucosan, mannosan, and galactosan through the Denali ice core to investigate past North Pacific fire activity.
