This data set contains vector polygons depicting management areas, military sites, National Estuarine Research Reserve (NERR) locations, national forests, national parks, nature conservancy sites, state/regional parks, and wildlife refuges; and vector points showing locations of national guard sites in South Carolina. As a whole, the ESI data characterize the marine and coastal environments and wildlife by their sensitivity to spilled oil, and include information for three main components: shoreline habitats, sensitive biological resources, and human-use resources. This data set contains human-use resource data for marine sanctuaries, national parks, NOAA NERR locations, state parks, state protected areas, and wildlife refuges in Southwest Florida.
