This layer contains an inventory of on street parking spaces that are monitored by the Parking Services division of the City of Bloomington, Indiana Public Works Department. These spaces are located in the core downtown area and are identified by general type category including accessible spaces, loading zones, metered spaces, no parking, permit spaces, reserved spaces, time restricted spaces, spaces with no restrictions, and other restricted spaces.

The parking restrictions are recorded by restriction type which include: Bus Zone, Combination Parking Zones with multiple restrictions, No Parking Anytime, No Parking Posted Times, and Time Restricted Parking. Accessible parking locations, parking meters and residential permit parking zones restrictions are not included in this layer, but are represented in the Parking Spaces, Downtown Parking Meter Zone, and Neighborhood Permit Parking Zones layers.
