State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Hurricanes & Tropical Storms
The State of the Climate is a collection of periodic summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale. The State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Hurricanes & Tropical Storms report focuses primarily on storms and conditions that affect the U.S. and its territories, in Atlantic and Pacific basins. The report places each basin's tropical cyclone activity in a climate-scale context. Key statistics (dates, strengths, landfall, energy, etc.) for major cyclone activity in other basins is occasionally presented. Reports began in June 2002. The primary Atlantic hurricane season (June-November) is covered each year; other months are included as storm events warrant. An annual summary is available from 2002. These reports are not updated in real time.

State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Upper Air
공공데이터포털
The State of the Climate is a collection of periodic summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale. The State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Upper Air report describes tropospheric and stratospheric temperatures, with data placed into historical perspective. Temperatures above the Earth's surface are measured within the lower troposphere, middle troposphere, and stratosphere using in-situ balloon-borne instruments (radiosondes) and polar-orbiting satellites. Global Upper Air reports are available monthly from May 2000, with annual summary reports starting in 2001. The report became completely automated (eliminating the narrative section) in 2014.
State of the Climate Monthly Overview - National Tornadoes
공공데이터포털
The State of the Climate is a collection of periodic summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale. The State of the Climate Monthly Overview - National Tornadoes provides a summary of tornadic activity in the United States. Tornado occurrences and significant events, including storms and outbreaks, are covered. Regular monthly and annual reports begin in July 2008. Spring "tornado seaso" reports are available for 2006 and 2008. In some months during climatologically inactive periods, the narrative part of this report may be omitted.

State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Drought
공공데이터포털
The State of the Climate is a collection of periodic summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale. The State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Drought report describes conditions in the United States, including Puerto Rico and the U.S. Affiliated Pacific Islands as warranted. A national drought overview is provided with detailed discussion on various regions. Several indices are presented: Palmer drought indices, Standard Precipitation Index, and other agricultural and hydrological indices. State, regional, and national moisture and precipitation status with historical rankings are available. Content of individual reports varies somewhat according to conditions and data availability. Reports were issued sporadically in 1999 and early 2000, with regular monthly reports beginning in September 2000. Annual reports are available from 2002.

State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Global El Niño/Southern Oscillation
공공데이터포털
The State of the Climate is a collection of periodic summaries recapping climate-related occurrences on both a global and national scale. The State of the Climate Monthly Overview - Global El Niño/Southern Oscillation report describes atmospheric and oceanic conditions related to ENSO, a periodic fluctuation in sea surface temperature (El Niño) and the air pressure of the overlying atmosphere (Southern Oscillation) across the equatorial Pacific Ocean. Each report provides a status statement and descriptions of the following indicators: 1) Sea surface temperatures (SSTs) and mixed-layer conditions; 2) Equatorial zonal winds (U-component winds) and sea-level topography; 3) Outgoing longwave radiation (OLR); and 4) Southern oscillation index (SOI). Reports were written monthly from January 2004 through October 2009 with annually summaries for 2003-2008. As of the October 2009 report, NCDC no longer wrote a separate assessment of the current state of El Niño/Southern Oscillation as part of its monthly climate report. The information is incorporated in the El Niño Diagnostic Discussion produced each month by the NOAA Climate Prediction Center.
