Surface Water - Chemistry Results
공공데이터포털
This data provides results from chemistry and field analyses, from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN). The data set contains two provisionally assigned values (“DataQuality” and “DataQualityIndicator”) to help users interpret the data quality metadata provided with the associated result. Due to file size limitations, the data has been split into individual resources by year. The entire dataset can also be downloaded in bulk using the zip files on this page (in csv format or parquet format), and developers can also use the API associated with each year's dataset to access the data. Example R code using the API to access data across all years can be found [here](https://gist.github.com/daltare/2de1517ad1e315c4b1cad01278de96dd). Users who want to manually download more specific subsets of the data can also use the CEDEN query tool, at: https://ceden.waterboards.ca.gov/AdvancedQueryTool
Surface Water - Toxicity Results
공공데이터포털
Surface water toxicity data from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN). CEDEN is the California State Water Board's data system for surface water quality in California, and seeks to include all available statewide data (such as that produced by research and volunteer organizations). Data in CEDEN include field, sediment and water column data collected from freshwater, estuarine, and marine environments. Examples of data in CEDEN come from laboratory, physical and biological analyses and include data types associated with chemical, toxicological, field, bio-assessment, invertebrate, fish, and bacteriological assay assessments. The data resource "Surface Water Toxicity" contains two provisionally assigned values (“DataQuality” and “DataQualityIndicator”) to help users interpret the data quality metadata provided with the associated result. Zip files are provided for bulk data downloads (in csv or parquet file format), and developers can use the API associated with the "Surface Water Toxicity" (csv) resource to access the data. Example R code using the API to access the data can be found [here](https://gist.github.com/daltare/6185457d3d81ea59fe7c1730a7e40318). Surface Water - Sampling Location Information
공공데이터포털
,Information about sampling locations for data from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN). This set of station/project combinations can be combined with other data sets from CEDEN to provide more information. CEDEN is the California State Water Board's data system for surface water quality in California, and seeks to include all available statewide data (such as that produced by research and volunteer organizations). Data in CEDEN include field, sediment and water column data collected from freshwater, estuarine, and marine environments. Surface Water - Aquatic Organism Tissue Sample Results
공공데이터포털
This data set provides results of tissue from organisms found in surface waters, from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN). The data are of tissue from individual organisms and of composite samples where tissue samples from multiple organisms are combined and then analyzed. Both the individual samples and the composite sample results may be given so for individual samples, there will be a row for the individual sample and a row for the composite where the number per composite is one. Surface Water - Indicator Bacteria Results
공공데이터포털
,Indicator bacteria data from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN) and BeachWatch databases. Results include E. coli, enterococci, fecal coliforms, and total coliforms. There is some overlap with the CEDEN Water Chemistry dataset (https://data.ca.gov/dataset/surface-water-chemistry-results). Both datasets draw from the same source, but the resources here are updated more frequently to support the Safe to Swim map on the Water Boards My Water Quality portal (https://mywaterquality.ca.gov/safe_to_swim/index.html).,
Surface Water - Benthic Macroinvertebrate Results
공공데이터포털
Data collected for marine benthic infauna, freshwater benthic macroinvertebrate (BMI), algae, bacteria and diatom taxonomic analyses, from the California Environmental Data Exchange Network (CEDEN). Note bacteria single species concentrations are stored within the chemistry template, whereas abundance bacteria are stored within this set. Each record represents a result from a specific event location for a single organism in a single sample. The data set contains two provisionally assigned values (“DataQuality” and “DataQualityIndicator”) to help users interpret the data quality metadata provided with the associated result. Zip files are provided for bulk data downloads (in csv or parquet file format), and developers can use the API associated with the "CEDEN Benthic Data" (csv) resource to access the data. NCCN Water Quality Monitoring Data Package, 2011-2021
공공데이터포털
This data package contains North Coast and Cascades Network (NCCN) Inventory and Monitoring Program discrete water quality monitoring tabular data collected during 2011-2021 at Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve (EBLA), Lewis and Clark National Historical Park (LEWI), Mount Rainier National Park (MORA), North Cascades National Park (NOCA), and Olympic National Park (OLYM). The protocol, publications, and all other associated links can be found in the project reference at: https://irma.nps.gov/DataStore/Reference/Profile/2195538. The abundance of rivers and streams is a key characteristic of the NCCN. Ninety-four percent of NCCN is federally-designated wilderness and contains some of the most pristine aquatic habitats in the Pacific Northwest. The prevalence of these resources makes water quality a high ecological and management priority. Rivers and streams integrate the physical, chemical, and biological characteristics of the watersheds they drain. This puts them at increased risk to a variety of environmental stressors including atmospheric pollution, flow regime changes, and localized disturbances related to land management activities and recreational use. To address risks from a variety of stressors to these systems, the NCCN developed a Water Quality Monitoring Program and protocol that is focused on monitoring the wadable streams that are the most at risk for water quality impairment. Data within this package include sampling locations and event conditions, physical habitat and channel characteristics, human influence descriptors, invasive species observations, and water chemistry parameters. The associated continuous temperature data can be found in the NPS-hosted Aquarius database https://irma.nps.gov/aqwebportal.
