This dataset includes basic information about the stormwater and wastewater general permits administered by the TCEQ Water Quality Division. The authorizations covered in this dataset are for the following master general permits: TXR040000 - MS4 Phase II (Notice of Intent & Waiver), TXR050000 - Multi-Sector (Notice of Intent & No Exposure Certification, TXG110000 - Concrete Production Facilities, TXG130000 - Aquaculture Production, TXG310000 - TPDES Oil and Gas Extraction, TXG340000 - Petroleum Bulk Stations and Terminals, TXG500000 - Quarries in Certain Water Quality Protection Areas, TXG640000 - Water Treatment Plant, TXG870000 - Pesticides, and TXG920000 - Concentrated Animal Feeding Operation.

The authorizations covered in this dataset are as follows: Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations (CAFO), Conventional Water Treatment, Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Phase I, Industrial Stormwater, Industrial Wastewater, Public Domestic Wastewater, Private Domestic Wastewater, and Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment.

Between 2012 and 2015, water-quality samples were collected by the USGS in cooperation with the Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District (CUWCD), the Bell County Adaptive Management Coalition (BCAMC), and other entities, with a primary goal of characterizing the groundwater resources in Bell County, Texas. Water resources associated with the northern segment of the Edwards aquifer near the Village of Salado were of primary interest, but water resources in the Trinity aquifer were also investigated to a lesser degree (the assessment focused on a springs complex in the Village of Salado). Data associated with other water quality samples collected by the USGS in Bell County during 1978 to 2017, outside of the cooperative agreements with CUWCD and the BCAMC, were also included in this data release. Most samples were analyzed for pesticides, nutrients, major and trace elements, and isotopes (strontium-87, oxygen-18 and deuterium in water, and nitrogen-15 and oxygen-18 in nitrate).

Information from the TCEQ annual waste summary report form, including generator's registration number, the year of report, waste, total quantity generated, quantity handled and how the waste was handled. The report lists the generator's annual waste generation quantities and handling for hazardous and Industrial Class 1 waste.

Information from the TCEQ monthly waste receipts summary report form submitted by receivers of hazardous and Industrial Class 1 waste. It contains the receiver's registration number, the received date, waste code, quantity received, who shipped the waste and how it was handled.
