AHRQ Report and Data Files (2023): Pharmacologic and Nonpharmacologic Treatments for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (Update of the PTSD-Repository Evidence Base)
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has established a long-term partnership to commission AHRQ to utilize its Evidence-based Practice Centers to develop update reviews to inform the VA’s PTSD-Repository – a publicly accessible clinical trials database maintained by the National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD). The 2023 Report, Executive Summary and Evidence Tables (Appendix E, F, G1, & G2) are included in the downloadable .zip file. Former Prisoner of War Statistical Tracking System
공공데이터포털
,The Former Prisoner of War (POW) Statistical Tracking System database is a registry designed to comply with Public Law 97-37, the Former Prisoner of War Benefits Act of 1981. This database contains information about the Medical Evaluation Program for ex-POWs at VA facilities. The program provides a complete medical and psychiatric evaluation of ex-POWs. Only ex-POWs who volunteer to participate in the program are included in this registry. Health examinations are given to ex-POWs at VA facilities. The findings are then recorded on a special coding sheet, VA Form 10-0048a. Quarterly, these code sheets are sent to the Austin Information Technology Center, where they are manually keyed into the database. The main users of this registry are: * The Advisory Committee on Former Prisoners of War * Congress * National Academy of Sciences * Researchers * The National Center for Veteran Analysis and Statistics.,
Functional Status and Outcome Database (FSOD)
공공데이터포털
,The Functional Status and Outcome Database (FSOD) captures and tracks information about patient rehabilitative care throughout the VA. FSOD supports the entry of information from acute and sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation programs, as well as a broad range of outpatient rehabilitation programs. Outcome-based information including length of stay and cost is also tracked. Participating Veterans Affairs Medical Center staff enter information into FSOD on-line through a software program called VA FIMware (Functional Independence Measurement (FIM)). Users throughout the VA can access stored FSOD data through VA FIMware. Quarterly, FSOD data is transferred electronically to the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation (UDSmr) server in Buffalo, New York. The UDSmr database contains a U.S. national roll-up of rehabilitative programs. Users include all VA personnel involved in rehabilitative care and the UDSmr.,
AHRQ Report and Data Files (2020): Pharmacologic and Nonpharmacologic Treatments for Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (Update)
공공데이터포털
The PTSD-Repository is a comprehensive database of PTSD trials. The PTSD-Repository allows clinical, research, education, and policy stakeholders to understand current research on treatment effectiveness and harms, and enable informed decisions about future research, mental health policy, and clinical care priorities. This report updates the studies and variables included in the PTSD-Repository to include recently published trials, interventions targeting comorbid PTSD/SUD (substance use disorder), variables related to comorbidities such as suicide and SUDs, and risk of bias (ROB) assessment. The Comparative Effectiveness Review (Update Report) and Evidence Tables (Appendix E, F-1, & G-1) are included in the downloadable .zip file. Journal of Traumatic Stress: Development of the PTSD-Repository, O'Neil et al. (2020)
공공데이터포털
Article from the Journal of Traumatic Stress (2020) by Maya E. O’Neil, Juliette M. Harik, Marian S. McDonagh, Tamara P. Cheney, Frances C. Hsu, David C. Cameron, Kathleen F. Carlson, Sonya B. Norman, and Jessica L. Hamblen. Abstract: Given the extensive research on posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) treatment, a single, updatable repository of data from PTSD treatment studies would be useful for clinical, research, and policy stakeholders. To meet this need, we established a preliminary dataset of abstracted PTSD trial data, which serve as the basis for the PTSD Trials Standardized Data Repository (PTSD-Repository), maintained by the National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD).We followed systematic review methods to identify published randomized controlled trials (RCTs) of PTSD interventions. We consulted with a panel of experts to determine a priori inclusion criteria, ensure that we captured all relevant studies, and identify variables for abstraction. We searched multiple databases for materials published from 1980 to 2018 and reviewed reference lists of relevant systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines. In total, 318 RCTs of PTSD interventions that enrolled almost 25,000 participants were included. We abstracted 337 variables across all studies, including study, participant, and intervention characteristics as well as results. In the present paper, we describe our methods and define data elements included in the data tables. We explain coding challenges, identify inconsistencies in reporting across study types, and discuss ways stakeholders can use PTSD-Repository data to enhance research, education, and policy. The abstracted data are currently publicly available on the NCPTSD website and can be used for future systematic reviews and identifying research gaps and as an information resource for clinicians, patients, and family members.
