The Children's Bureau Division of State Systems and the Capacity Building Center for Tribes hosted a three-part webinar series on Tribal Child Welfare Data System Procurement. This webinar series provides a detailed framework of best practices in planning for and procuring a new case management system. Participants hear directly from tribal staff about their process for selecting and implementing a data system. In addition, facilitators connect participants with resources, technical assistance, and peer supports. P.L. 102-477 (referred to as “477”) is the Indian Employment, Training and Related Services Demonstration Act. 477 (as amended) allows federally recognized tribes and Alaska Native entities to integrate federal grant programs for employment, training, and related services they provide to their communities into a single program plan, budget, and reporting system to address tribal priorities.
