Geospatial mapping products derived from 2018, 2020, and 2022 NAIP aerial imagery for the Scotts Creek Watershed, Lake County, CA
공공데이터포털
The USGS, in cooperation with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management (BLM), created a series of geospatial mapping products of the Scotts Creek Watershed in Lake County, California, using National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) imagery from 2018, 2020 and 2022 and Open Street Map (OSM) from 2019. The imagery was downloaded from United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) - Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Geospatial Data Gateway (https://datagateway.nrcs.usda.gov/) and Geofabrik GmbH - Open Street Map (https://www.geofabrik.de/geofabrik/openstreetmap.html), respectively. The imagery was classified using Random Forest (RF) Modeling to produce land cover maps with three main classifications - bare, vegetation, and shadows. An updated roads and trails map for the Upper Scotts Creek Watershed, including the BLM Recreational Area, was created to estimate road and trail densities in the watershed. Separate metadata records for each product (Land_Cover_Maps_Scotts_Creek_Watershed_CA_2018_2020_2022_metadata.xml, and Roads_and_Trails_Map_Upper_Scotts_Creek_Watershed_CA _2022_metadata.xml) are provided on the ScienceBase page for each child item. Users should be aware of the inherent errors in remote sensing products.

Maine StreamStats Foundation Data Layers
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Geological Survey, in cooperation with Maine Department of Transportation, has compiled a series of GIS datasets to be implemented into the USGS StreamStats application for the State of Maine. These data were compiled from the high-resolution National Hydrography Dataset (NHD) and the Maine Lidar-Derived Watersheds (Sturtevant and Schoen, 2022). By using these datasets users will be able to delineate watersheds with the StreamStats application more accurately than previously possible. The datasets are provided in five separate child items.

Elevation-Derived Hydrography Layers for the Upper Shawsheen River Basin, Massachusetts
공공데이터포털
This dataset consists of the raster and vector data used to generate elevation-derived hydrography for the 12-digit Hydrologic Unit Code (HUC) 010700061301 area named the Upper Shawsheen River in Massachusetts. The data release contents are: fdr_010700061301.zip: Contains a GeoTIFF raster used to indicate the predicted direction of flow based on the direction of steepest drop. fac_010700061301.zip: Contains a GeoTIFF raster used to show the number of upstream cells flowing into each one-meter cell. Hydrolines_010700061301.zip: Contains data files for an ESRI polyline shapefile used to enforce drainage in lidar DEM data. Stream_Network_010700061301.zip: Contains data files for an ESRI polyline shapefile representing stream network centerlines derived from lidar DEM data." Sub_Basins_010700061301.zip: Contains data files for an ESRI polygon shapefile representing watershed areas for all stream network centerlines.
USGS Historical Topographic Map Collection
공공데이터포털
USGS Historical Quadrangle in GeoPDF. The USGS Historical Quadrangle Scanning Project (HQSP) is scanning all scales and all editions of topographic maps published by the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) since the inception of the topographic mapping program in 1884.
Elevation-Derived Hydrography in the Upper Shawsheen River Basin, Massachusetts
공공데이터포털
The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), in cooperation with the Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC), has compiled Geographic Information Systems (GIS) datasets. The spatial data layers provided in this data release are hydrography data derived from high-resolution lidar digital elevation models (DEM). They include a hydroline polyline shapefile used to hydro-enforce the high-resolution lidar DEM; a stream network centerline polyline shapefile derived from the hydro-enforcement that shows stream location; a sub-basin polygon shapefile derived from the hydro-enforcement representing watershed areas for all stream network centerline polylines; a flow direction raster, predicting the direction of flow based on direction of steepest drop; and a flow accumulation raster, predicting the number of upstream cells flowing into each one-meter cell. Field verification was conducted for locations where the high-resolution lidar digital elevation models were unclear on hydraulic connection. Photographs were captured to confirm the conveyance of flow. The datasets are provided in separate child items.
