Utah FORGE: Faults, Fractures, and Lineaments in the Mineral Mountains
공공데이터포털
This submission includes a shapefile of the Opal Mound Fault, and multiple datasets of lineaments mapped in the Mineral Mountains which overlook the Utah FORGE site, hyperlinked to rose diagrams in a polygon grid shapefile.

Utah FORGE: Seismic and Other Shapefiles from the Roosevelt Hot Springs Area
공공데이터포털
Three shapefiles in this submission show the position of proposed seismic line surveys. The mid-crustal velocity anomaly file shows the extent of an anomalously low P-wave velocity zone in the subsurface. Two other files show the extent of known hydrothermal systems in the Roosevelt Hot Springs area. Another file shows the location of the proposed water pipeline to pump water from the supply wells to the deep drill site.

Utah FORGE: Geochemical Data for Cold Groundwaters and Produced Geothermal Fluids
공공데이터포털
Geochemical data for cold groundwaters and produced geothermal fluids around the Utah FORGE site. The data is compiled into four tables in the attached Excel File. Table 1 is a compilation of compositions (anions, cations, weak acids, oxygen, hydrogen, and carbon isotopes) for cold groundwaters and produced geothermal waters in the Milford valley, Utah. Table 2 is a compilation of noble gas (He, Ne, Ar) and He and Ne isotopic compositions for cold groundwaters and produced geothermal waters in the Milford valley, Utah. Table 3 provides values for calculated advective and diffusive fluxes of helium. Table 4 provides values of calculated subsurface stored heat between the Opal Mound fault and the Utah FORGE site, which are related to volumes of recently solidified magmatic heat sources.

Utah FORGE: Evaluation of Potential Geochemical Responses to Injection in the FORGE Geothermal Reservoir
공공데이터포털
Plugging of fracture porosity from mineral precipitation due to injecting cold water into a a geothermal reservoir can impact the overall permeability of the fracture network in the reservoir. This can have serious ramifications on the efficiency of the geothermal resource. Geochemical modeling can be useful in providing a first-hand evaluation of potential of mineral precipitation along the different reaction paths. We developed geochemical models for injecting four different relevant water compositions in the FORGE Utah geothermal reservoir through well 58-32. Results and discussions related to this work are presented in this technical report.
