VEGA1 ORIGINAL MISCHA DATA SUBMISSION
This data set includes the original Vega 1 MISCHA data delivery to PDS. The data were provided by Magda Delva of the MISCHA instrument team. The data are provided in ASCII format as well as the original IBM/PC binary format in which they were delivered to PDS. This data set was created for purposes of 'safing' these data. Significant concerns exist with regards to data quality. Specifically one of the instrument sensors saturated near closest approach to the comet Halley.

SAKIGAKE SOLAR WIND EXPERIMENT DATA V1.0
공공데이터포털
The original dataset was called MST5SOW. It was personally delivered by Dr. Oyama. The sample hardcopy listed the column headings with units for the solar wind parameters bulk ion velocity, ion density, and ion temperature. The data format of the tape was included. The recorded jumps in the measured parameters indicate a disturbance at encounter. .
GALILEO SS HIC DERIVED ION FLUXES OCT89 SOLAR EVENT V1.0
공공데이터포털
This data set includes values for the fluxes of heavy ions associated with an energetic particle event of solar origin. The values are derived from HIC data taken during the Interplanetary Cruise to Jupiter.
Sodar - Reagan, TX - Processed Data
공공데이터포털
**Overview** This dataset was produced from the raw sodar .dat files from the Reagan, TX site during the WFIP1 campaign. Quality control and formatting have been applied to transform the numerous raw files into a single file to provide user friendliness and improved wind resource characterization at this location. **Data Details** Location: 31.32, -101.48 Elevation: 822 m Output heights: Every 10 meters from 30 meters to 200 meters **Data Quality** Data from the raw files were filtered according to the following automated and manual procedures. Missing and rejected values were flagged as -999. High precipitation events as suggested by the vertical velocity values were subjected to quality control. If any vertical velocity value at any height for a given timestamp fell below a -1.5 m/s threshold, all variables at all heights at that timestamp were rejected. The raw files were also screened for nonphysical values such as wind speeds less than zero and directions outside 0-360 degrees. Finally, the data were visually examined for events of atypical sodar retrievals, such as excessive magnitudes in oscillations or periods of stagnancy.
VG2 JUP PLS DERIVED ION INBOUND SOLAR WIND 96SEC V1.0
공공데이터포털
This data set contains solar wind plasma data upstream of Jupiter before the Voyager 2 encounter. Fit and moment parameters are given; the fit parameters assume a convected isotropic proton Maxwellian distribution. Use of fit parameters is recommended as these are normally more accurate. Since only the first 72 or last 72 energy/charge channels are telemetered to Earth from each M-mode spectra, derived parameters change significantly only every other set of spectra so the effective time resolution is 196 s.
Sodar - St. James, MN - Processed Data
공공데이터포털
**Overview** This dataset was produced from the raw sodar .wtb files from the St. James, MN site during the WFIP1 campaign. Quality control and formatting have been applied to transform the numerous raw files into a single file to provide user friendliness and improved wind resource characterization at this location. **Data Details** Location: 43.98549, -94.5527 Elevation: 324 m Output heights: Every 5 meters from 10 meters to 200 meters **Data Quality** Data from the raw files were filtered according to the following automated and manual procedures. Missing and rejected values were flagged as -999. High precipitation events as suggested by the vertical velocity values were subjected to quality control. If any vertical velocity value at any height for a given timestamp fell below a -1.5 m/s threshold, all variables at all heights at that timestamp were rejected. On a height-by-height basis, if the SNR for any of the u, v, or w wind components reached 10 or below, all variables for that height and timestamp were rejected. The raw files were also screened for nonphysical values such as wind speeds less than zero and directions outside 0-360 degrees. Finally, the data were visually examined for events of atypical sodar retrievals, such as excessive magnitudes in oscillations or periods of stagnancy. One event of the latter variety was noted, removed, and is discussed in greater detail in the events section below.
