Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute - Central Geological Database – Archival Reports Subsystem
,The Central Geological Database Archival Reports Subsystem (CBDG) is one of the most important PIG-PIB digital data resources. It stores catalog data of archival geological studies from the National Geological Archives (NGA) in Warsaw, its regional branches, as well as from over 100 archives in the country. The CBDG Archival Reports Subsystem is the largest collection of this type of data and contains information on over 870,000 studies from various fields of geology. These data come partly from older databases kept at the Central Geological Archives, at the Geophysics Department and at the PGI – NRI Geological Spatial Information Center, as well as at SEGI – PBG. Part of the data was collected as part of the work on the INFOGEOSKARB system.,

,The Central Geological Database Geological Collections Subsystem (CBDG) contains data on the collections of the Geological Museum in Warsaw and regional branches of the PGI-NRI. In the Subsystem, these are data on palaeontological, palaeobotanic, mineralogical and petrographic collections collected in the form of specimens, polishes, thin plates and preparations. It contains among others data from the archival database ARCHIMUZ. Since 2006, new information about the collections of the Warsaw Museum and the Upper Silesian Department of PGI–NRI has been added to the subsystem. Substantive supervision over their work is carried out by the Geological Museum of the PGI-NRI and responsible persons in the PGI-NRI branches. Geological Collections are linked to other CBDG subsystems Boreholes and Archival Reports.,
