,Badanie dojazdów do pracy w 2011 r. dla ogółu pracujących zostało przeprowadzone na podstawie danych zawartych w rejestrach administracyjnych, pozyskanych przez statystykę publiczną na potrzeby Narodowego Spisu Powszechnego Ludności i Mieszkań 2011 (NSP 2011).,Metodyka tego badania została opracowana na podstawie wcześniej przeprowadzonych prac związanych z realizacją zadania „Przepływy ludności związane z zatrudnieniem w 2006 r.” Tym razem dotychczasowe źródło danych dla tego tematu (rejestry podatkowe) zostało wzbogacone o zasoby innych gestorów. Pochodzące z tych źródeł informacje pozwoliły na dokonanie charakterystyki dojeżdżających do pracy według płci i wieku, a w szczególności umożliwiły dokładniejszą identyfikację terytorialną ich miejsca pracy, które w połączeniu z faktycznym miejscem zamieszkania tych osób wyznaczają kierunki przepływów związanych z pracą.,
