,The hydrogeological map of Poland in 1:50 000 is a database that presents the conditions of occurrence of groundwaters of the main aquifer/level, its qualitative and quantitative characteristics and threats to groundwater. The map includes the following sections: aquifer, groundwater zoning, hydrodynamics, groundwater quality, groundwater threat and documentation data. It provides clear information on ordinary groundwater necessary for decision-making at the level of local governments, regional administration and for programming hydrogeological research and activities involving spatial development.,

,A series of geological-touristic maps of national parks, landscape parks and selected communes show the geological structure, topography, interesting geological sites and tourist attractions, hiking trails. The content of the maps is enriched with descriptive information about landscape and natural values, geological structure, hydrogeology, mineral resources, and detailed descriptions of geological sites. Geological-touristic maps are available in the form of GIS as well as scans of maps and text explanations, as well as in paper form, printed in offset.,

,The Detailed Geological Map of Poland in scale 1:50,000 (DGMP 1:50,000) is elaborated in Polish on the base of geological mapping, especially drilled boreholes to subQuaternary basement as well as geological and geophysical surveys and laboratory studies. The whole edition comprises 1069 sheets. The Detailed Geological Map of Poland in the scale 1:50,000 published from 1956 together with explanations, forms a compendium of geological knowledge of the area. It is a basic map which is being used for construction of all the other consecutive thematic maps of the country, either in detailed or in regional scales. The Map is supplemented with one or two geological sections, typical for the area: one of them (Quaternary deposits) is prepared in highly exaggerated vertical scale. Each sheet is provided with brochure text explanations, containing description of the geological structure of the area, logs of the more significant boreholes, geomorphological and subQuaternary basement sketches and the results of field and laboratory analyses.,

,Geological map of Polish sea areas for the purposes of the so-called Additional Military Layers was developed in 2013 at the Department of Sea Geology of the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute in accordance with the indications of the defense standard NO-06-A058-5. The map includes those elements of the defense standard concerning the geological layer (sublayer) that could be developed on the basis of existing data on bottom sediments of Polish sea areas. ,Pre-Quaternary Geological Map of the Baltic Sea was developed in 2013 at the Department of Sea Geology of the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute. This map shows the geological structure and sub-Quaternary surface. Its content is supplemented by geological cross sections and seismic profiles. The study was based on new geophysical measurements with the use of high-resolution reflection seismic, thanks to which the geological structure of the area was recognized to a depth of several hundred meters.,,,
