Albatross Bay - Total Zooplankton Biomass 1986-1992
Total zooplankton biomass levels were calculated from stepped oblique bottom to surface plankton tows, deployed during monthly cruises carried out at twenty-one stations in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria. Cruises were undertaken between March 1986 and April 1992. Total zooplankton biomass were calculated as grams dry weight. Sampling used a stepped-oblique tow, using a 0.5 x 0.5 square metre frame with either a 140-142 micron mesh (sampler_code = 'A'), or a 250 micron mesh (sampler_code='E')

Total Zooplankton Biomass, Gulf of Carpentaria 1975-1977
공공데이터포털
Total zooplankton biomass (g dry weight) were recorded from stepped oblique bottom to surface plankton tows, using a 140-142 micron net. The data also includes a corrected biomass value, allowing comparisons to be made with later data collected using a 250 micron net size. Data were collected during nine cruises that took place between 1975 and 1977 on chartered boats and the "Kalinda". Related datasets include the counts of prawn larvae from these tows.
Mapset: Zooplankton Biomass in Albatross Bay for Wet and Dry Seasons
공공데이터포털
These maps show zooplankton biomass in Albatross Bay for both wet and dry seasons. Monthly cruises were carried out between March 1986 and April 1992, at twenty-one stations in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria. Prawn larval densities were measured and salinity-temperature profiles taken. Theses maps have been produced by CSIRO for the National Oceans Office, as part of an ongoing commitment to natural resource planning and management through the 'National Marine Bioregionalisation' project.
GIS Layer: Zooplankton Biomass in the Gulf of Carpentaria
공공데이터포털
Data showing total zooplankton biomass (dry weight) from stepped oblique bottom to surface plankton tows for both the wet season and dry season in Albatross Bay. Biomass estimates from two mesh sizes. Nine cruises took place between 1975 and 1977 on chartered boats and the "Kalinda". Prawn larval biomass, prawn larval densities and total zooplankton were measured in several transects across the Gulf of Carpentaria.

Zooplankton biomass (displacement volumes) collected in the North Atlantic during MARMAP/EcoMon-RV projects from 1977-02-13 to 2015-11-04, data were acquired from the NMFS-COPEPOD database (NCEI Accession 0051894)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains zooplankton biomass displacement volumes sampled using zooplankton nets on various platforms by the Northeast Fisheries Science Center in the North Atlantic Ocean from 1977 to 1987 as part of the Marine Resources Monitoring, Assessment, & Prediction (MARMAP) and by the Ecosystem Monitoring-Research Vessel (EcoMON RV) program from 2000 to 2015. The accession contains biomass data in long and short format as it is available in the COPEPOD program. The accession also includes the HTML files for the user to reconstruct the COPEPOD environment and search for data by platform, project, investigator, cruise and taxa. Data from this program have supported numerous analyses documenting the seasonal and inter-annual variability in the distribution and abundance of the dominant zooplankton taxa on the Northeast Continental Shelf.
Copepod data (1986-1988) in Albatross Bay
공공데이터포털
26 cruises between 1986 and 1988 recorded the biomass and species composition of tropical zooplankton in Albatross Bay, Gulf of Carpentaria, Northern Australia. The initial data analysis was undertaken by Graham J B Ross between 20 November and 15 December 1999, where a significant number of errors, of various types where discovered and correction made. See attached metadata record REPORT.TXT. Zooplankton taxonomic groups were identified to species level where possible (from m6332.xls), with a primary focus on copepods, to produce the ESRI shape layer and m6332_copepods.xls. Data is stored as mean number of individuals per site. Sampling occurred across 5 sites (Site 1 = Inshore, Site 5 = Offshore, Sites progressed westward). Temperature and salinity were also recorded for many samples.

공공데이터포털
The data were downloaded from the COPEPOD data base website. The dataset contains zooplankton data from the Institute of Marine Research (Bergen Norway) Norwegian Sea survey in April-June during the years 1995 to 2005. It is total biomass and also biomass of size fractions 180 um, 1000 um and 2000 um microns (from the latter we also pick our krill, shrimp and small fishes). The samples are taken by WP2 nets from 200-0 m.

공공데이터포털
Zooplankton biomass data were collected from net tows from the South Pacific Ocean. Data were collected by the Bedford Institute of Oceanography (BIO) from 27 January 1967 to 26 November 1967. Zooplankton samples were obtained from oblique tows and parameters include maximum tow depth, total water volume passed through net, small plankton volume, total plankton volume, and standard haul factor.
