This dataset can be used with the Brisbane City Council annual bikeway data surveys datasets to translate the Site ID or Site Name to a Latitude and Longitude to show the survey location. Brisbane City Council automated and manual bike and pedestrian, bikeway and cycling monitoring data. Used to capture cycleway patronage and support bikeway planning. Data from the 2022 to 2024 automated surveys can be found on the Table tab of this dataset. Data from the 2019 to 2021 automated surveys can be found in the Attachments section of this dataset. Brisbane City Plan 2014 is Brisbane City Council's plan for the future development of Brisbane. Brisbane City Plan 2014 is regularly updated with new or amended information. To stay informed about City Plan, including proposed amendments and to receive other Council planning and development updates, you can register your interest. The Bicycle network overlay mapping identifies bicycle network infrastructure locations. Development requirements are triggered for: - land traversed by cycle routes or Riverwalks identified in the Bicycle network and for land where it adjoins; and - land that has frontage to land containing mapped infrastructure (i.e. where the overlay sub-category is located in adjoining road reserve, public land or river), or traversed by, overlay map, The Bicycle network overlay map identifies the following sub-categories: (a) Primary cycle route sub-category; (b) Secondary cycle route sub-category; (c) Local cycle route sub-category; (d) Riverwalk – Typology 1 (City reaches north and south) sub-category; (e) Riverwalk – Typology 2 (Urban reaches) sub-category; (f) Riverwalk – Floating walkway (Riverwalk connection subject to future construction) sub-category.

This dataset contains information on events related to fitness in Brisbane parks. It includes locations, dates and times. Brisbane City Council's events data containing dates, costs, booking requirements, venue and location for active parks events in Brisbane. The dataset was created using data from an external service called Trumba. The data is a transformed extract created using the Trumba Calendar API XML feed, that is limited to the next 1,000 events. The transformed extract is converted to a CSV file and uploaded into this dataset daily. To access and view the data using the Source API (Trumba), use the information below and your preferred link in the Data and Resources section. The City has conducted twice yearly intersection cycle counts at various sites in peak hours (6-9 am and 4-7 pm) on one day in March and October every year, since March 2010 (excluding March 2018). This data is consolidated to provide a total number of cyclists at the site during peak hours.
