Bluethroat Wrasse Commercial Fishery Data (2017/2018 to 2021/2022)
Bluethroat wrasse (Notolabrus tetricus) commercial catch (in tonnes), commercial effort (in number of days fished), and commercial Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE, in kg/day fished) by fishing season per NRE scalefish fishery fishing block for all gear types combined. The dataset was provided by the Tasmanian Wild Fisheries Assessments team at IMAS. Tasmanian wild fisheries stock assessments are conducted by the Fisheries and Aquaculture Centre of the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies (IMAS) on behalf of the Tasmanian Department of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE Tas). Under the Sustainable Marine Research Collaboration Agreement (SMRCA), IMAS conduct fishery assessments, provide expert management advice and undertake scientific research on Tasmanian fisheries issues for NRE Tas.

State Fisheries Tasmania
공공데이터포털
The datasets contain summaries of Tasmania Natural Resources and Environment logbook data on catch and effort distribution for Tasmanian commercial fisheries in state marine and estuarine waters. The logbook data has been recorded and submitted to NRE by commercial fishers. The data are aggregated to produce summaries of total catch and effort by fishery at a 5 degree resolution where 5 boats or more operate. For areas where less than 5 boats operate the data is shown as confidential. The data was mapped using 5 year - financial year periods; 2003/04 to 2007/08, 2008/09 to 2012/13, 2018/19 to 2022/23, and 1 year; 2022/23.
Tasmanian commercial scallop fisheries research (including bycatch): 2005-2007
공공데이터포털
Utilising both fishery independent and industry dependent surveys, spatial and temporal data was collected on scallop, and other bethnic community, abundance.
Effect of recreational scallop fisheries in southeast Tasmania waters
공공데이터포털
Dive surveys using strip transects are used to determine species composition, size structure and abundance of scallops, with surveys conducted pre- and/or post fishing season. In addition, post season telephone surveys of recreational scallop dive licence-holders are conducted to collect information about scallop diving activity (including days fished, location and success), and a range of management-related issues (eg. attitudes to management options, communication strategies).
Southern Rock Lobster Commercial Fishery Data (2017-2021)
공공데이터포털
Southern Rock Lobster (Jasus edwardsii) commercial fishery catch by block (in tonnes) and nominal Catch Per Unit Effort (CPUE, in kg/pot lift) per lobster fishing block per year for all depths. The data was retrieved from the Tasmanian Wild Fisheries Assessments site (https://tasfisheriesresearch.org/).
Pacific Bluefin Tuna Tracking - Sportfishing Report.com
공공데이터포털
This project monitors the reported recreational Pacific bluefin tuna catch in California by industry on sportfishingreport.com. The data is a tally of bluefin kept per day. This data and metadata were submitted by California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW) Staff though the Data Management Plan (DMP) framework with the id: DMP000454. Soviet Fishery Data (Australian Waters) - vessel Korifei February-June 1968
공공데이터포털
This dataset comprises catch compositions and trawl locations from a cruise of the Russian fishery research vessel "Korifei" carried out in Australian waters between February and June 1968, containing 223 demersal trawls from Bass Starit, the Great Australian Bight, SW Western Australia and the North West Shelf. Most records include catch composition by species (presence/absence but not weight), also some data on length frequency, maturity and diet of commercially important species. The data were obtained by exchange with Soviet scientists in the mid 1990s and has had CSIRO species codes incorporated. The dataset is now in an Oracle database in Hobart, and analyses/summaries of the data are given in the accompanying report (see References). A MS Access version of the dataset has been compiled for use within the North West Shelf-JEMS study. This version is available on-line for researchers in the NWS-JEMS study (see data links). The data are also accessible to authorised users via CMR's "Data Trawler" application. A username and password is required to access this dataset.
