Coastal Infrastructure Polygons
Spatial representation of Department of Transport (DoT) (WA) assets and other significant coastal infrastructure. The Polygons feature class contains coastal protection structures (seawalls, groynes, breakwaters), structures that facilitate access to the coast (car parks, wharves, jetties, boardwalks, boat ramps and associated amenity buildings). Dataset is limited to DoT assets and significant structures identifiable on currently available imagery. This dataset is currently not available for sownload, however it may be viewed via WMS at the following link:https://mapsengine.google.com/09372590152434720789-09543935511296329702-4/mapview/?authuser=0

Spatial representation of Department of Transport (DoT) (WA) assets and other significant coastal infrastructure. The Lines feature class currently contains only DoT maintained roads. This dataset is currently not downloadable, however may be viewed by WMS at the following link:https://mapsengine.google.com/09372590152434720789-09543935511296329702-4/mapview/?authuser=0
Coastal Information, Department of Transport - Coastline Movements - Vegetation Lines (DOT-023)
공공데이터포털
Spatial representation of coastline movements data for the Department of Transport (DoT) (WA). The Polyline feature class contains line work that represent the position of the vegetation lines for WA held by DoT. The complete dataset also includes generalised waterlines and line features that mark the extent of sand drift areas along the WA coast. This data is available by request from DoT. This data has been captured using available imagery and photogrammetrical techniques. These Coastline Movement Lines are used by the Department of Transport, WA, to produce coastline movement drawings. These drawings and their associated data are used by coastal engineers to estimate horizontal setback datum used in coastal planning.
Coastal Information, Department of Transport - Marine and Harbours Act Areas (DOT-003)
공공데이터포털
Areas declared under the Marine and Harbours Act 1981. Polygon dataset forming part of DoT's Marine Administrative Boundaries captured for the purposes of the CFM Information Review.
Geographic Information Management, Department of Transport - Coastal Infrastructure Line (DOT-019)
공공데이터포털
Spatial representation of Department of Transport (DoT) (WA) assets and other significant coastal infrastructure identifiable on currently available imagery. The Lines feature class currently contains only DoT maintained roads. Roads included in this dataset are limited to those identified in the DoT asset management database. Certain DoT assets (signs, services, plant & equipment) have been excluded from the publicly available online dataset. This dataset may be requested from the Department of Transport, 1 Essex Street, Fremantle WA 6160 or by emailing cdc@transport.wa.gov.au. Not to be used for navigation or hazard identification. Locations of structures have been generated from interpretation of aerial imagery. Current status of structures is not guaranteed. Representation of structures does not imply that structures are safe or available for use by the general public.

Julian O'Grady - Mapping Australia's Coastal Defences Structures: Understanding the Gaps and the Need for a National Dataset
공공데이터포털
This dataset and accompanying RMarkdown notebook document the analysis and efforts to consolidate spatial data on coastal protection structures, such as sea walls, groynes, and wharfs, across Australia's coastline. The project addresses the urgent need for a national-level dataset by sourcing data from various state governments and identifying gaps in coverage. The dataset integrates contributions from OpenStreetMap (OSM), Smartline, and state-based government databases, resulting in a research-quality geospatial file. Key attributes include the location and type of coastal structures, with data standardised for consistency across regions. Limitations are noted, such as the absence of government-supplied data for certain regions and potential accuracy issues with OSM-sourced information. The dataset is intended for research purposes, supporting efforts to assess coastal risks and guide future protection measures. Ongoing updates to datasets will extend to not only consider engineered hard structures but also include datasets of nature-based coastal protection (e.g., restored reefs and coastal vegetation).
WA Coastal Compartments Secondary
공공데이터포털
Coastal compartments are structural features relating to geological features and landforms that can be used to provide a framework for planning and management of the coastine. The primary compartment boundaries for WA were determined by identifying major changes in rock type along the coast and changes in shoreline orientation, while incorporating complete landforms of coastal significance. The Primary compartments have been subdivided into secondary compartments based on landform associations. This dataset was commissioned by the Department of Planning and compiled by Damara Pty Ltd and the Geological Society of WA. A full report was also prepared to accompany the dataset, published August 2011. Some superficial changes have been made to the dataset since publication of the report in order to amalgamate the data into a nationwide compartment dataset developed by Geoscience Australia.
