Brisbane City Council is proud to offer over 2,000 parks across the city – each designed to bring people together, spark adventure, and support active, healthy lifestyles. Whether you're chasing thrills at one of our popular parks or relaxing at your local playground, there’s something for everyone. Our parks range in size from small parks to large district parks, two botanic gardens and many bushland reserves. While most activities in parks do not need Council approval, you may need consent or approval to book part of a park for exclusive use. Park designated sites for bookings identifies the sites within Brisbane City Council Parks that can be booked for exclusive use. This information provides a graphical representation of the locations of the existing (as constructed) stormwater end structures in the Brisbane City Council local government area. It can be combined with other Stormwater data to provide the entire Stormwater Network. Not all assets within the network are owned, and maintained by Brisbane City Council. End Structures in a Stormwater network represent an end-point of a pipe. They are usually placed at a pipe inlet or outlet to prevent erosion and scour around the pipe, protect the embankment, and help anchor the pipe.

This polyline dataset shows the locations of Stormwater Open Drains, Floodways and Spillways in the Australian Capital Territory. These assets are either owned or managed by City Services, Transport Canberra and City Services Directorate (TCCS). Assets managed and / or owned privately, by other ACT Government Directorates or by the Federal Government may not be included.Attributes include location description, suburb, ownership, maintained by, asset sub type (Concrete Channel, Grass Channel, Grassed Floodway, Metal Channel, Spillway, Stone Channel, Swale Drain), dimensions, invert levels, materials and shape.These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the works as executed (WAE) handover process or field audits.For additional information, please see the relevant municipal infrastructure standard (https://www.cityservices.act.gov.au/plan-and-build/standards-codes-and-guidelines/municipal-infrastructure-design-standards-mis).
