The Department of Human Services Annual Report (Annual Report) sets out the department’s activities for the financial year with a focus on the department's performance and financial details, amongst other information. The Annual Report is prepared in accordance with the Requirements for Annual Reports, issued by the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet. Under the *Public Service Act 1999* (Cth.) the Secretary of the Department of Human Services is required, after the end of each financial year, to provide a report on the department's activities to the Minister, for presentation to the Parliament. Annual Reports are tabled in parliament usually in late October and are available to the public online shortly after tabling.
