Spatial Data - State Planning Policy 2.3 Jandakot Groundwater Protection (DPLH-051)
공공데이터포털
A revised State Planning Policy 2.3 – Jandakot Groundwater Protection (SPP 2.3) was gazetted on 11 January 2017. SPP 2.3 aims to protect the Jandakot Groundwater Protection Area from development and land uses that may have a detrimental impact on the water resource. The objectives of this policy are: To ensure that all development and changes to land use within the policy area are compatible with maximising the long-term protection and management of groundwater, in particular for public drinking water supply; To protect groundwater quality and quantity in the policy area in order to maintain the ecological integrity of important wetlands that are hydraulically connected to that groundwater, including wetlands outside the policy area; To prevent, minimise or manage development and land uses that may result in contamination of groundwater; and To maintain or increase natural vegetation cover over the policy area. The policy provides guidance regarding planning requirements that need to be considered in the policy area and should be read in conjunction with the Department of Water’s Water quality protection note 25: Land use compatibility tables in public drinking water source areas (as may be amended from time to time). All proposed development within the Jandakot Groundwater Protection Area should be consistent with Tables 1, 2 and 3 which set out appropriate land uses and activities within the assigned priority area. Priority areas may change from time to time. The relevant priority areas and wellhead protection zones within the Jandakot Groundwater Protection area can be found on the Department of Planning’s PlanWA interactive planning map. For any enquiries regarding the policy, contact waterpolicies@planning.wa.gov.au.
Spatial Data - State Planning Policy 5.4 Road and Rail Noise (Polygon) (DPLH-057)
공공데이터포털
This policy aims to promote a system in which sustainable land use and transport are mutually compatible. The objectives of this policy are to: protect people from unreasonable levels of transport noise by establishing a standardised set of criteria to be used in the assessment of proposals; protect major transport corridors and freight operations from incompatible urban encroachment; encourage best-practice design and construction standards for new development proposals and new or redeveloped transport infrastructure proposals; facilitate the development and operation of an efficient freight network; and facilitate the strategic co-location of freight handling facilities. The purpose of the implementation guidelines is to assist users with the application and implementation of the Western Australian Planning Commission’s state planning policy 5.4. It should be noted that the policy and these guidelines apply to proposals for new noise-sensitive developments, new railways or major roads, major redevelopments of existing railways or major roads, and new freight handling facilities. The policy and guidelines do not apply to noise from existing railways or major roads in the vicinity of an existing noise-sensitive land use, or an increase in traffic along an existing railway or major road in the absence of a major redevelopment. It is expected that a review of the operation and effectiveness of the policy would be conducted within two years of the commencement of the policy.
Geoscape - Hobart Planning (Polygon) June 2022
공공데이터포털
This dataset is the June 2022 release of Geoscape Planning for a single SA2 area (Hobart) with SA2 code (61027). Planning provides detailed planning zone codes and descriptions for parcels of land across Australia. By representing the detailed planning classification for each parcel as well as links to the relevant planning scheme/instrument. Planning provides a simple lookup for the classification on sites nationally, as well as linkages to enable further understanding of a site's potential. Planning is created through combining Geoscape Australia's Cadastre product with Planning Zones defined by a State, Territory or Local Government. For more information regarding Geoscape Planning, please refer to the Data Product Description and the June 2022 Release Notes. Please note: As per the licence for this data, the information is limited to a single Level 2 Statistical Area (SA2) mentioned above as defined by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. If you require additional data beyond a single SA2 for your research, please request a quote from AURIN. Planning zones provide a method to divide land and describe the types of development that may occur at a location, and often describe other developmental requirements such as the height, setback or form of the structures that can be built. Planning zones allow State, Territory and local Governments to facilitate urban planning and control the development of land. Through representing the planning classification from a planning zone at a Cadastre cadastral parcel level, Planning provides a granular representation of the potential for development at each site, alongside URL linkages to enable further research directly from the authoritative definition. This dataset has been restricted to the Hobart SA2 by AURIN. AURIN has extracted the selected SA2 area information from this dataset through using geometries from the May 2022 Geoscape Cadastre release. The dataset, therefore, is a tabular dataset for the selected SA2 area.
