Gulf St Vincent marine ecology: seagrass cover survey
공공데이터포털
Data on seagrass cover along the Adelaide coast, Gulf St Vincent, South Australia from 2006-2007.
Benthic habitats of Irvine Island
공공데이터포털
Surveyed benthic habitats surrounding Irvine Island by remote video and aerial imaging.
St. John Shallow-water Benthic Habitat Map derived from Remotely Sensed Imagery
공공데이터포털
Benthic habitat maps of the nearshore marine environment of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands were created by visual interpretation of remotely sensed imagery. The objective of this effort, conducted by NOAA's Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment - Biogeography Branch in partnership with the U.S. National Park Service (NPS), was to provide spatially-explicit information on the habitat types, biological cover and live coral cover of St. John's coral reef ecosystem.
Ningaloo Marine Park Monitoring Program
공공데이터포털
Benthic lifeform and substrate monitoring data from 1993 onwards, held in the RM_VPOINT table of the NMPMP database. Percentage cover of different substrate types and benthic organisms (particularly corals), identified to benthic group or lifeform level. Videos are made along fixed transects and data is analysed from stills on a large video screen halted at specified time intervals. The AIMS LTMP monitors about 50 selected reefs throughout the Great Barrier Reef. Transects are recorded at 3 sites per reef, and 3 50m transects per site. Visual transect data is stored in a separate table, and described as a separate but related dataset.
Spencer Gulf and Gulf St Vincent marine ecology: reef health
공공데이터포털
Data on benthic cover and fish abundance at a number of coastal reefs along the Adelaide coast, Fleurieu Peninsula and Yorke Peninsula, South Australia. Surveyed in 2005 and a subset in 2007.
Surveys of benthic communities in the Timor Sea (Big Bank Shoals)
공공데이터포털
Between May 1995 and January 1997, extensive surveys were undertaken around Big Bank Shoals of the Timor Sea, in depths between 15 and 300m. These surveys were undertaken using remotely operated vehicles equiped with cameras. A total of 205, 50 metre video transects were recorded and later analysed using the AIMS's AVTAS system.
Scott Reef/Rowley Shoals Long Term Monitoring Project
공공데이터포털
Benthic and fish communities are surveyed at 16 locations. 3 fixed sites per location 5 transects per site Benthic communities surveyed using video analysis. Adult fish surveyed using visual census Fish recruits surveyed using visual census on occasion.
St. John Moderate-Depth Benthic Habitat Map derived from Acoustic Imagery
공공데이터포털
Benthic habitats of the moderate-depth marine environment in and around the Virgin Islands Coral Reef National Monument were mapped using a combination of semi-automated classification and visual interpretation of acoustic imagery. The objective of this effort, conducted by NOAA's Center for Coastal Monitoring and Assessment - Biogeography Branch in partnership with the U.S. National Park Service (NPS), was to provide spatially-explicit information on the habitat types, biological cover and live coral cover of the moderate-depth area south of St. John.
Department for Environment and Water - Benthic Habitat Survey Sites
공공데이터포털
Point data collected from video drops identifying benthic habitats such as seagrass, macroalgae and reef, collected during field work in 2007 to 2011. Used to support the Benthic Habitat Mapping project undertaken by DENR to map the nearshore benthic habitats of South Australia.
