VCGLR - Population Density and Gaming Expenditure (LGA) 2016 - 2017
공공데이터포털
This data set includes population and electronic gaming machine (EGM) expenditure breakdowns by local government area (LGA) and gaming venue, demographic statistics, labour statistics and Socio-Economic Indexes for Areas (SEIFA) LGA score and ranking per LGA for the 2016/17 financial year. The data has been joined with LGA 2011 boundaries. For more information visit the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulation's (VCGLR) website. Please note: AURIN has spatially enabled the original data. EGM Numbers: a venue may be operating less machines than its licensed or attached numbers Gaming Machine Density calculations are based on operating gaming machines with attached entitlements divided by adult population divided by 1,000 (gaming machines per 1,000 adults). Expenditure / EGM: Refers to the average Expenditure per Gaming Machine. In 2013, these figures are based on net expenditures divided by number of gaming machines with attached entitlements. SEIFA Scores: a lower score indicates that an area is relatively disadvantaged compared to an area with a higher score. Scores should only be used in distributive analysis. Rankings are based on highest score, for example 1st ranking in index of disadvantage means the LGA is least disadvantaged. Disclaimer: Care must be taken in using any figures for an LGA involving net expenditure and population. The expenditure per person in an LGA may include an amount of expenditure coming from persons not living within the LGA.
Tourism Research Australia - Statistics (LGA) 2015-2018
공공데이터포털
This dataset presents statistics regarding tourism to specific Local Government Areas (LGA) around Australia. The LGAs covered in the data are a subset of the LGA boundaries classified in the 2018 Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS). The data presents statistics for reason for visit, travel party type and accommodation details for trips to the specified LGAs by their location of origin and visit duration. The data values are representative of a yearly average based on the four years of: 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Tourism Research Australia (TRA) first developed Local Government Area tourism profiles in 2007 to assist industry and Government decision making and to identify and support investment opportunities, particularly in regional Australia. The latest profiles provide an update for over 200 Local Government Areas. Data are drawn from TRA's International Visitor Survey (IVS) and National Visitor Survey (NVS), along with demographic and business data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS). Profiles were only prepared for Local Government Areas with adequate IVS and NVS sample to present robust results. Further, data are averaged over four years, which minimises the impact of variability in estimates from year to year, and provides for more robust volume estimates. For more information please visit TRA. Please note: AURIN has spatially enabled the original data. Where data values were, "np", not published or "-", not available, in the original data, they have been set to null.
East Gippsland 2011 Local Government Area Profile
공공데이터포털
The Local Government Area profiles are produced annually, from data provided by a range of sources. The profiles currently include around 130 indicators relating to population, socio-demographics, health status and health utilisation. Each indicator is provided as a rate for the LGA, and a ranking of the LGA against all 79 LGAs for that indicator. The LGA profiles also include definitions for each data item, with a description, data source and currency.
