The Government Towns layer is a data set that reflects the official boundaries of Government Towns in South Australia as defined by the Crown Land Management Act, 2009 or preceding Acts. The polygons are based on the existing cadastral data that defines the boundaries.

This layer provides an annual view of changes in lots and residential dwellings associated with housing development projects over each year for Metropolitan Melbourne defined by the 32 local government authorities. Project lot and dwelling information is assigned to polygons representing housing development projects that comprise one or more land parcels for the particular year. Projects are only identified where there is development activity or change such as demolition or construction. Key fields include: Number of lots pre and post development; residential dwellings pre and post development; vacant lots pre and post development; total demolitions and constructed dwellings; and total construction projects. Polygon linework is consistent with the corresponding Parcel View - Vicmap Property dataset (VMPROP_PARCEL_VIEW) for when a project was first defined.

This layer provides an annual view of residential dwellings for Metropolitan Melbourne defined by the 31 local government areas. Dwelling information is assigned to polygons representing Victoria's land parcels for the particular year. Key fields include: Number of residential dwellings on a parcel; parcel size, whether a parcel is vacant, whether construction activity is present, and the street address. Polygon information is sourced from the Parcel View - Vicmap Property dataset (VMPROP_PARCEL_VIEW).

This layer is a general parcel-based land use derived from the valuation information and land parcel boundaries. The land use code from the valuation has been categorised into 17 broad classes.

This land use map has been prepared under contract with Bureau of Rural Sciences (BRS) for Murray-Darling Basin Commission (MDBC). The classification scheme followed here was the Australia Land Use Mapping (ALUM) classification version 4 (BRS, 2001). ALUM version 4 was developed by BRS as a modification of Baxter - Russell Classification, in coordination with State agencies. This product is based on information from a number of sources: Corporate Geospatial Data Library (CGDL), former DNRE regional data sets, satellite imagery from ACRES, the planning maps from Infrastructure Department, and the newly acquired field survey information. Data was sourced from 1996 to 2005. Product was independently validated. Overall accuracy is 89.27%.

An Irrigation Area is an area within South Australia that is administered under the Irrigation Act for irrigation purposes.

Portions of land which match discrete land use. Both existing and future land uses are defined. Every SL-lot has an identifier number as a label, known as a SL-lot number. This layer contains aspatial details for all legal parcel boundaries in Victoria, both freehold and crown. A parcel is defined as the smallest area of land capable of sale without further approval to subdivide. It may consist of more than one piece. Parcels are described by a parcel description (either lot/plan or allotment/section/parish). This dataset s a raw superset of VMPROP_PARCEL It shows the current and retired states of each feature instance. It supports feature versioning (UFI_RETIRED) and enables feature edting chaining (UFI_OLD). It includes: - Parcel Identifiers, both freehold and crown; - Registered and proposed status; - Crown and Freehold land differentiation; - Council reference numbers; - LGA code; - Unique Feature Identifiers, date stamps and data quality information.

Historical versions of the South Australian Planning and Design Code datasets (i.e. Zones, Subzones, Overlays and Variations) as previously found in the South Australian Property and Planning Atlas (SAPPA). Each bundle is a zip file containing shapefiles and is up to 410MB in size.
