Waterway and Coastal Protection Area Guidance Map
공공데이터포털
The Waterway and Coastal Protection Area Guidance Map has been prepared to provide guidance for local government in preparing the waterway and coastal protection area overlay for the application of the Natural Assets Code as part of the Local Provisions Schedules in the Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The Guidance Map identifies the relevant buffer distances for the waterway and coastal protection area overlay based on the class of watercourse and the type of wetland. The waterway and coastal protection area overlay in Local Provisions Schedules should be derived from the Guidance Map in accordance with Guideline No. 1 – Local Provisions Schedule (LPS): zone and code application: http://www.planning.tas.gov.au/news/news_items/guidance_for_drafting_lps

Julian O'Grady - Mapping Australia's Coastal Defences Structures: Understanding the Gaps and the Need for a National Dataset
공공데이터포털
This dataset and accompanying RMarkdown notebook document the analysis and efforts to consolidate spatial data on coastal protection structures, such as sea walls, groynes, and wharfs, across Australia's coastline. The project addresses the urgent need for a national-level dataset by sourcing data from various state governments and identifying gaps in coverage. The dataset integrates contributions from OpenStreetMap (OSM), Smartline, and state-based government databases, resulting in a research-quality geospatial file. Key attributes include the location and type of coastal structures, with data standardised for consistency across regions. Limitations are noted, such as the absence of government-supplied data for certain regions and potential accuracy issues with OSM-sourced information. The dataset is intended for research purposes, supporting efforts to assess coastal risks and guide future protection measures. Ongoing updates to datasets will extend to not only consider engineered hard structures but also include datasets of nature-based coastal protection (e.g., restored reefs and coastal vegetation).
Department for Housing and Urban Development - Corrosion Environment Areas
공공데이터포털
Corrosion Environments are areas located within 1 km of the coastline or 10 kms of breaking surf that are subject to special corrosion protection requirements for Class 1a and 10a buildings in accordance with the Building Code of Australia. Environmental Planning Instrument - Foreshore Building Line
공공데이터포털
This data identifies the foreshore building line. Land between this line and the high water mark of the nearest natural waterbody comprises the foreshore area. Development in the foreshore area is subject to an "Additional Local Provision" which can be found in Part 6 or Part 7 of the Local Environment Plan Contact data.broker@environment.nsw.gov.au for a data package (shapefile)
Future Coastal Refugia Area Guidance Map
공공데이터포털
The Future Coastal Refugia Area Guidance Map has been prepared to provide guidance for local government in preparing the future coastal refugia area overlay for the application of the Natural Assets Code as part of the Local Provisions Schedules in the Tasmanian Planning Scheme. The Guidance Map provides guidance for mapping the future coastal refugia area overlay by identifying potential future coastal saltmarsh and tidal wetland areas based on the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPAC) predicted sea level rise and 1% AEP storm surge height mapping for 2100, including areas with and without LiDAR coverage. The Guidance Map categorises the land in accordance with the current interim planning schemes and Flinders Planning Scheme 2000 zones for the purposes of mapping the future coastal refugia area overlay. The future coastal refugia area overlay in Local Provisions Schedules should be derived from the Guidance Map in accordance with Guideline No. 1 â Local Provisions Schedule (LPS): zone and code application: https://www.planning.tas.gov.au/assessment-resources/section-8a-guidelines
