Key Values - Threatened Fauna Species with Buffered Records (PWS)
This layer provides a spatial representation of threatened fauna species that are key values in each reserve of the National Reserve System in Tasmania. Those species that were analysed by buffering the observation records, including nests, are included in this metadata statement.

Non Threatened Flora of Conservation Significance
공공데이터포털
Non Threatened flora data derived from the Natural Values Atlas consisting primarily of point locations (Eastings and Northings) and associated attributes for non threatened flora in Tasmania. The original NVA data set also maintains species taxonomy and provides access to additional attribute information. including species values for conservation significance as well as project specific data.
Threatened Fauna Observations
공공데이터포털
Threatened fauna data derived from the Natural Values Atlas consisting primarily of point locations (Eastings and Northings) and associated attributes for threatened fauna in Tasmania. The original NVA data set also contains Habitat mapping for a limited number of high priority fauna species. The NVA maintains species taxonomy and provides access to management documents such as listing statements and recovery plans. Additional attribute information is also stored within the NVA, including species values for conservation significance as well as project specific data.
Fauna Significance
공공데이터포털
This dataset records the significance of potential fauna habitat within the coastal strip of the Northern and Southern National Resource Management (NRM) Regions of Tasmania. It has been developed as a management tool and is a summary layer derived from the PotentialFuanaHabitat layer. The 'Significance' of the mapped polygons reflects the 'Significance' of the species with the highest threat status for which the polygon represents potential habitat. Only vegetation community polygons that represent threatened fauna habitat are included therefore the layer is not continuous. This dataset is part of the NRM Coastal Values Project. The Project maps vegetation, fauna habitat and geomorphology from High Water mark to 100 metres inland for part of the coastline of the Southern and Northern NRM Regions of Tasmania. The purpose of the coastal values mapping is to provide an easily accessible database on vegetation and geomorphology to support better strategic planning, land use planning and management on the coast.
Australian Government Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water - Threatened Species and Ecological Communities of National Environmental Significance
공공데이터포털
__Threatened Species of National Environmental Significance__ This dataset contains information about species of national environmental significance as listed in the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). Data provided includes: - species names and threatened status - indicative occurrence within each state, territory and marine area - links to further information in the [Species Profile and Threats Database](http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/sprat/public/sprat.pl) (SPRAT). The dataset is updated as the lists of species on schedules of the EPBC Act are amended. There is one row entry for each listed species. Links to other species information sourced from SPRAT can be made using the field containing the listed taxon identification number (ListedId). A description of the fields and methods used to create the data can be found in the explanatory notes resource. Data provided includes: - ecological community name and threatened status - indicative occurrence within each state and territory - links to further information in the [Species Profile and Threats Database](http://www.environment.gov.au/cgi-bin/sprat/public/sprat.pl) (SPRAT). The dataset is updated as the lists of ecological communities on schedules of the EPBC Act are amended. There is one row entry for each listed ecological community. Links to other ecological community information sourced from SPRAT can be made using the field containing the listed community identification number (ECId). Sensitive Species Project Review Areas
공공데이터포털
The statewide vector file shows buffered areas that primarily contain habitat for rare, threatened, and endangered species and rare natural community types. It was originally created over USGS 7.5 minute topographic quadrangle maps and it generally includes, but does not specifically delineate, such regulated areas as Natural Heritage Areas, Wetlands of Special State Concern, Colonial Waterbird Colonies, and Habitat Protection Areas.
