This dataset contains temperature and current data collected off Marmion, Perth, Western Australia between June 1982 and January 1986. Six surveys were carried out.

This dataset contains temperature, salinity and nutrient data collected off Marmion, Perth, Western Australia between June 1979 and June 1982. 33 surveys were carried out at approximately monthly intervals on transects and/or grid surveys in this region. Nutrients measured comprise nitrate, reactive silicate, inorganic phosphate, nitrite, and dissolved organic phosphate (DOP). Observations on weather conditions and water quality accompany the printed version of the data. The surveys were undertaken to obtain baseline information for the Division of Fisheries & Oceanography Coastal Ecology research program established at Marmion in the late 1970s. Full listings of the surveys and results are presented in the documentation. The locations of the sampling stations are indicated in the attached map (see "Links" section).

This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a coastal transect off Bermagui, New South Wales (lat. 36 deg. S, long. 150 deg. E approx.) between January 1958 and Huly 1960. The stations were set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring programme in the 1950s and were sampled approximately monthly for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate and nitrate. The data are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. Additional copies of the data are deposited with the NODC data archive (World Data Centre-A) in the U.S.A., and details of relevant data files can be viewed via their website by requesting the file inventory for this coastal station which is NODC platform code "09F7".

This dataset contains seagrass distribution and density data from Marmion Lagoon, Perth, Western Australia. Every 6 months from 1979 until January 1998, two transects a north south and an east west (370 m and 330 m long) in 4 m of water were conducted. Any species or density changes along the transects were recorded.

This dataset contains oceanographic data collected at a 5 m - 19 m coastal station off Nickol Bay Western Australia (lat. 20 deg. 30 min. S, long. 117 deg. 10 min. E) in September 1970. Station set up under the CSIRO coastal monitoring program in the 1970s and was sampled approximately monthly for temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, phosphate and nitrate. The data are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. This dataset contains the results from quadrat surveys in the Marmion Lagoon, Perth, Western Australia. Approximately monthly surveys were conducted between October 1993 and October 1994 to determine the biomass and distribution of filter feeders in relation to seagrass distributions.
