For users who require a [WGS 84-aligned-to-GDA94] service the original NSW Base Map Web Serviceis still available.Disclaimer: This Cached Map Tile service is created directly from the GDA94 Cached Map Tile service by simply shifting pixels by a distance equivalent to the GDA94 > NTv2-CPD > GDA2020 transformation. This shift must be a whole number of pixels. As a result, where raster tiles are provided at low-resolution, the display location may differ from true GDA2020 location. This service generally contains the current standard Topographic maps from the 1:100,000; 1:50,000 and 1:25,000 series.Where coverage exists at multiple scales, the largest scale map is displayed. The sourced Geotiff file is cropped to the map window only, with no legend, disclaimers, map grid, scale bar or north arrow displayed. The NSW Topographic Map series is derived from Spatial Services’ Digital Topographic Database (DTDB). Information viewed in this web service includes:• Roads• Points of interest• Localities• Contours• Drainage• Cultural data• Parks and forests• Property boundaries. This web service allows users to easily integrate the topographic map cache coverage for NSW into Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) compliant spatial platforms and applications. The NSW Topographic Map Cache web service can be used for mapping, emergency services, natural resource management, geosciences and sustainable development. This service ensures users are able to consume topographic map data without the requirement of hosting the map files on their own servers. It is important to note that depictions of roads and tracks do not necessarily indicate a public right of way. Unlawful entry upon private land or a restricted area and/or wilful damage of property such as gates and fences expose offenders to legal prosecution. NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Road Corridor is a polygon dataset that represents spatial extents of roads, and maintenance boundaries. NSW Land Parcel and Property Theme Road Corridor is made up of the following data:· Road Corridor: Represents the spatial extent of the legal road network Land and property data underpins the economic, social and environmental fabric of NSW and is used, amongst other things, to: · Secure tenure for access to capital · Define allowable use of land · Manage native title, nature conservation, heritage, protection, defence, and disaster management · Improve infrastructure and property development planning · Inform water and carbon accounting programs. Spatial Services continuously updates the Land Parcel and Property theme with information sourced from relevant stakeholders and custodians. The majority of updates to the datasets in this theme originate from subdivision, registration and gazettal activity. The data is up to date to within 10 working days from when a plan is lodged at Spatial Services. Data is also sourced from Crown Lands, the Office of Environment and Heritage, the Aboriginal Land Council, Local Land Services, the Electoral Commission and the Department of Trade and Investment. Data quality for both Cadastral Maintenance and Cadastral Upgrade activities are assured through specification compliance and data topology rules. The client delivery database is automatically updated each evening with the changes that occurred that day in the maintenance environment. This imagery captured between January and April 2020, is part of the Spatial Services Whole-of-Government initiative providing a bi-annual state-wide, satellite imagery at 1.5m resolution. The state mosaic is provided as a Red Green Blue (RGB) band combination; contrast enhanced lossless 8-bit JPEG2000 file with a world file. It contains 7,459 administrative areas (Parishes) formed by the division of 141 counties. Counties and parishes are administrative divisions of the state and are not separately disposable land parcels. County and Parish are historical layers and the information contained on these layers was gathered from Parish and County maps which are now held at State Records (digital versions can be accessed through the Historical Lands Records Viewer). However, they can be updated (if necessary) after a title inspection.Parishes are divided into separately land parcels called “portions”, these being the common basic units of land disposed of by the Crown (sold), held in occupation (leased) or reserved for public purposes. Other basic units are section and allotments in Towns and Villages. The dataset contains county and parish names. Any changes that occur to the dataset should have a reference in the authority of reference feature class in the lot and property data sets.Features are positioned in topological alignment within the extents of the land and property polygons for each county and are held in alignment, including changes resulting cadastral maintenance and upgrades. NSW Parish is a subset of NSW County.This dataset contains an historical land administration boundary.
