Indigenous Locations 2021
Access API Export Data Indigenous Locations (ILOCs) are geographic areas built from whole Statistical Areas Level 1 (SA1s). Indigenous Locations are designed to represent Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities with a minimum population of about 90 people. Changes to Indigenous Locations are determined through consultation with the Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Statistics based on statistical and community requirements. Whole Indigenous Locations aggregate to form Indigenous Areas (IAREs). Further information about these regions can be found in the following publication: Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3 https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/standards/australian-statistical-geography-standard-asgs-edition-3/jul2021-jun2026

Indigenous Area 2021
공공데이터포털
Access API Export Data Indigenous Areas are medium sized geographic areas built from whole Indigenous Locations. They are designed for the release and analysis of more detailed statistics for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Changes to Indigenous Areas are determined through consultation with the Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Statistics based on statistical and community requirements. Whole Indigenous Areas aggregate to form Indigenous Regions. Further information about these regions can be found in the following publication: Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3
Indigenous Regions
공공데이터포털
Access API Export Data Indigenous Regions (IREGs) are large geographic areas built from whole Indigenous Areas. Changes to Indigenous Regions are determined through consultation with the Centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Statistics based on statistical and community requirements. Further information about these regions can be found in the following publication: Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3 https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/standards/australian-statistical-geography-standard-asgs-edition-3/jul2021-jun2026
Tourism Regions 2021
공공데이터포털
Access API Export Data Tourism Regions (TRs) are an ABS SA2 approximation of tourism regions as provided by Tourism Research Australia. They are administrative regions primarily used by Tourism Research Australia for research and policy purposes. Please note that ABS approximated boundaries do not match official legal or administrative boundaries and should only be used for statistical purposes. Further information about these regions can be found in the following publication: Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3 https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/standards/australian-statistical-geography-standard-asgs-edition-3/jul2021-jun2026
Location SA - National ABS Census Boundaries Web Service (Pilot GovHack 2017)
공공데이터포털
This service identifies 2016 ABS census (ASGS) boundaries at a location coordinated point. Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) service is a point in a polygon. The boundary areas returned can be used as an additional layer over a basemap and can be used to perform analytics when mashed up with other statistical or spatial data. Please read the User documentation published with this record. A Location SA Data mentor will monitor the GovHack slack channel on the weekend for troubleshooting. This services will be free and active until 30 September 2017 (or the GovHack international Red Carpet Awards if after this date) to support the pilot and showcase GovHack concepts created using Location SA data services.
ABS - ASGS - Country (AUS) 2016
공공데이터포털
This dataset is the Country (AUS) boundaries as defined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS): Volume 1 - Main Structure and Greater Capital City Statistical Areas, July 2016. For the original data and more information, refer to the Australian Bureau of Statistics' Issue. The ABS encourages the use of the ASGS by other organisations to improve the comparability and usefulness of statistics generally, and in analysis and visualisation of statistical and other data. The Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) brings together in one framework all of the regions which the ABS and many others organisations use to collect, release and analyse geographically classified statistics. The ASGS ensures that these statistics are comparable and geospatially integrated and provides users with an coherent set of standard regions so that they can access, visualise, analyse and understand statistics.
DCCEEW_Geospatial - Indigenous Protected Areas - Dedicated
공공데이터포털
This dataset details the Dedicated Indigenous Protected Areas (IPA) across Australia through the implementation of the Indigenous Protected Areas Programme. These boundaries are not legally binding. An Indigenous Protected Area (IPA) is an area of Indigenous-owned land or sea where traditional Indigenous owners have entered into an agreement with the Australian Government to promote biodiversity and cultural resource conservation-making up over half of Australia's National Reserve System.Further information can be found at the website below.https://www.dcceew.gov.au/environment/land/indigenous-protected-areashttps://www.niaa.gov.au/indigenous-affairs/environment/indigenous-protected-areas-ipas
DCCEEW_Geospatial - Urban Rivers eligibility
공공데이터포털
This dataset defines the eligibility of areas in Australia for the Urban Rivers and Catchments Program. The dataset is a 500m buffer around the ABS SUAs.The Significant Urban Areas (SUA) represent significant towns and cities of 10,000 people or more. They are based on Urban Centres and Localities (UCLs) but are defined by the larger Statistical Areas Level 2 (SA2s). A single SUA can represent either a single Urban Centre or a cluster of related Urban Centres. Using SA2s to define SUAs ensures a wider range of more regularly updated data is available for these areas (such as Estimated Resident Population), compared to UCLs where only Census data is available.
Destination Zones 2021
공공데이터포털
Access API Export Data Destination Zones are co-designed with state and territory transport authorities. DZNs are designed from either whole or aggregations of Mesh Blocks (MB) and they align to Statistical Area Level 2 boundaries. They have no relationship to Statistical Area Level 1 boundaries. Destination Zones were incorporated as part of the ASGS for the first time in 2021. Further information about these regions can be found in the following publication: Australian Statistical Geography Standard (ASGS) Edition 3 https://www.abs.gov.au/statistics/standards/australian-statistical-geography-standard-asgs-edition-3/jul2021-jun2026
