Eastern Bushlands Database VIS ID 622
"Eastern Bushlands Database - Southern Region. ; Holme, L. (1993). Eastern Bushlands Database Project (Central Region). NSW NPWS internal unpublished document. ; Broadscale Structural Vegetation mapping covering the eastern portion of NSW. The EBDB provides a broadscale management tool for conservation planning and decision making for purposes including stratifying field survey effort, regional planning, baseline estimation of clearing or regrowth rates, and as input to state-wide forest cover datasets.; ; Data was captured as part of the Save the Bush funded Eastern Bushlands Database project. The dataset consists of three complete portions covering eastern NSW - Northern, Southern and Central. The three separate datasets are similar but not enough to enable combining of them. Data should not be used at scales finer than 1:250 000.; ; Mapped using visual interpretation of Landsat TM satellite imagery. Attribute mapping includes structural vegetation information. Linework derived by visual interpretation of hardcopy Landsat TM imagery printed at 1:100 000. Polygons attributed by combination of visual interpretation and low intensity field work. Higher level of detail mapped in the Central Region, with a total of 53,592 polygons mapped (23,099 ,10 ha) as compared to the Southern Region (13,400 polygons mapped, 1,822 ,10 ha) and the Northern region (36,204 polygons mapped, 9,916 ,10 ha)."; ; VIS_ID 622; ; ANZNS0208000011

Geospatial data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve
공공데이터포털
The files linked to this reference are the geospatial data created as part of the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Current format is ArcGIS file geodatabase but older formats may exist as shapefiles. The final Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve vegetation map consisted of 1,891 polygons. The number of polygons and total area of each association, map class, or alliance are shown in Table 5. To facilitate analysis, we divided the Reserve into 6 subunits, roughly coinciding with landscape features, roads, or land management boundaries; these same subunits are used in Table 5. Data summaries include impounded water but do not include Penn Cove in area calculations.
Field data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve - Open Format Data Package
공공데이터포털
These data were converted from the originally delivered Microsoft Access PLOTs database from the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve. These comma-delimited data tables contain(s) vegetation mapping plot classification and accuracy assessment data, as well as summary information about the data itself. If a table is empty, then it was empty in the original database.
Western Regional Assessment API Vegetation Data VIS ID 1028
공공데이터포털
Map from Beckers, D. & Binns, D. (May 2000). Vegetation Survey and Mapping (Stage 1). NSW Western Regional Assessments. RACAC. ; API map of floristics in areas previously unmapped or requiring updated mapping within the BBS Bioregion. GIS based vegetation map at 1:50,000 scale of State Forests, National Parks estate and crown land within or directly adjacent to the Brigalow Belt South Bioregion (south of Narrabri), suitable for use in conservation and resource assessment, planning and management.; Existing mapping data assessed for suitability in meeting project objectives, by examining the floristic attributes, age of mapping and mapping methodology. 1,296 existing plots were documented from field surveys conducted between 1986 and 1999, with 474 new plots subsequently sampled in six planning areas. While the total number of plots analysed for the Bioregion was 1,264, the species lists were generated from a total of 2,554 available plots. (VIS ID 1028)
Imagery data for the Vegetation Mapping Inventory Project of Ebey's Landing National Historical Reserve
공공데이터포털
This reference contains the imagery data used in the completion of the baseline vegetation inventory project for the NPS park unit. Orthophotos, raw imagery, and scanned aerial photos are common files held here. To develop a draft map for field sampling, we used eCognition software to divide spectral data for the Reserve into 18,428 initial polygons. The spectral data used by eCognition to create polygon boundaries was 1 m resolution aerial imagery from the 2011 National Agriculture Imagery Program (NAIP) along with LIDAR height data available for the Reserve. Initial polygons ranged in area from 0.005 to 47 acres (22 to 192,972 m2).

Historic Woody Vegetation Mapping of the NSW Wheat-belt VIS ID 1602
공공데이터포털
The vegetation of the Central Division of NSW was classified and mapped (Cobar-Nyngan-Gilgandra), Nymagee-Narromine-Dubbo 1:250 000 map sheets) as part of the NSW NPWS wheat-belt mapping series. The vegetation classification was derived using traditional API and quantitative analysis of data from 428 field sites. Analyses included heirarchical classification in PATN to define floristic groups, then Fidel and ANOSIM to elucidate the characteristic species of the groups and explore the consistency of these relationships and various levels of similarity. Maps and descriptions show the floristic composition and structure, the geographic distribution of assemblages, the current extent, and shape and degree of connectivity of vegetation and changes in native woody vegetation cover over time. (VIS_ID 1602; ANZLIC: ANZNS0208000147)
NSW Native Vegetation Extent (2008) ver0.1 MODISfpc classification.
공공데이터포털
A dataset of Native Vegetation Extent for NSW, prepared for the NRAC grassland mapping project NRP009 PART B. Raster grid, NSWVEGEXT08, with a land cover classification representing an experimental native non-woody and native woody vegetation extent. THIS DATASET IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN THE FORMAL REPORTING OF NATIVE VEGETATION EXTENT. It is a composite product, synthesising inputs from a MODIS time series data cube (2000-2008), an fpc thresholded (SLATS) woody mask, and OEH's NSW Land Use vector layer (for woody nativeness).

BLM ID Completed Vegetation Treatment Areas
공공데이터포털
This data set is a warehouse of completed vegetation treatment areas and associated attribute information for the BLM. Each system that currently maintains vegetation treatments will provide treatment area information on a regular basis to the treatment area data set. Vegetation treatments on BLM-managed land include Invasive Species Treatments, Emergency Stabilization and Rehabilitation Treatments, Range Improvement Treatments, Fuels Treatments and/or Forest Treatments. Vegetation treatments documented in this data set may be categorized by the general type of treatment that is used on the area being treated. These different types of vegetation treatments are Chemical, Physical, Biological, and Prescribed Fire. The first three are further categorized by the treatment sub-type. Chemical treatments are either pesticide or fertilizer; Physical treatments are alteration, planting, or removal; and Biological treatments are either classical or non-classical. Prescribed Fire is the only fire related treatment and has no sub-types. For more information contact us at blm_id_stateoffice@blm.gov.
