Western Regional Assessment API Vegetation Data VIS ID 1028
Map from Beckers, D. & Binns, D. (May 2000). Vegetation Survey and Mapping (Stage 1). NSW Western Regional Assessments. RACAC. ; API map of floristics in areas previously unmapped or requiring updated mapping within the BBS Bioregion. GIS based vegetation map at 1:50,000 scale of State Forests, National Parks estate and crown land within or directly adjacent to the Brigalow Belt South Bioregion (south of Narrabri), suitable for use in conservation and resource assessment, planning and management.; Existing mapping data assessed for suitability in meeting project objectives, by examining the floristic attributes, age of mapping and mapping methodology. 1,296 existing plots were documented from field surveys conducted between 1986 and 1999, with 474 new plots subsequently sampled in six planning areas. While the total number of plots analysed for the Bioregion was 1,264, the species lists were generated from a total of 2,554 available plots. (VIS ID 1028)

Eastern Bushlands Database VIS ID 518
공공데이터포털
"Eastern Bushlands Database - Northern Region. Roberts, G. (1992). Vegetation systems of north east New South Wales: Mapped from Landsat TM imagery. NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service NEP 91 298. Broadscale Structural Vegetation mapping covering the eastern portion of NSW. The EBDB provides a broadscale management tool for conservation planning and decision making for purposes including stratifying field survey effort, regional planning, baseline estimation of clearing or regrowth rates, and as input to state-wide forest cover datasets. Data was captured as part of the Save the Bush funded Eastern Bushlands Database project. The dataset consists of three complete portions covering eastern NSW - Northern, Southern and Central. The three separate datasets are similar but not enough to enable combining of them. Data should not be used at scales finer than 1:250 000. Mapped using visual interpretation of Landsat TM satellite imagery. Attribute mapping includes structural vegetation information. Linework derived by visual interpretation of hardcopy Landsat TM imagery printed at 1:100 000. Polygons attributed by combination of visual interpretation and low intensity field work. Higher level of detail mapped in the Central Region, with a total of 53,592 polygons mapped (23,099 ,10 ha) as compared to the Southern Region (13,400 polygons mapped, 1,822 ,10 ha) and the Northern region (36,204 polygons mapped, 9,916 ,10 ha)." Vegetation map - Breelong and Drillwarrina National Parks. VIS ID 4529
공공데이터포털
Existing vegetation surveys and mapping were reviewed and supplemented with 16 additional full floristic vegetation plots and over 230 rapid data points (RDPs). Plant Community Type (PCT) mapping was undertaken at a scale of 1:10,000 using a range of datasets. A total of 14 unique PCTs totalling 8,007 ha of native vegetation were mapped including four Endangered Ecological Communities (EECs) listed under the NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995 (TSC Act) with three of these communities also being listed under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act). A finer level of mapping detail was provided through the delineation of structural variants of PCTs across their mapped occurrences to facilitate park management activities. A total of 15 midstorey variants were identified resulting in a total of 50 unique units which demonstrates significant variation across PCTs in Breelong and Drillwarrina National Parks. VIS_ID 4529
NSW Native Vegetation Extent (2008) ver0.1 MODISfpc classification.
공공데이터포털
A dataset of Native Vegetation Extent for NSW, prepared for the NRAC grassland mapping project NRP009 PART B. Raster grid, NSWVEGEXT08, with a land cover classification representing an experimental native non-woody and native woody vegetation extent. THIS DATASET IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE IN THE FORMAL REPORTING OF NATIVE VEGETATION EXTENT. It is a composite product, synthesising inputs from a MODIS time series data cube (2000-2008), an fpc thresholded (SLATS) woody mask, and OEH's NSW Land Use vector layer (for woody nativeness).
Forest Ecosystems, Western Sub-region, Southern CRA VIS ID 3792
공공데이터포털
The pre-1750 and extant Forest Ecosystem maps of the Western sub-region comprise a number of different Generalised Additive Models (GAMs) and interpreted API and soils data. Within the extant vegetation area, expert botanists developed the map by assigning API polygons to vegetation groups, determined by an ecological classification process using PATN software. On cleared land, a combination of soils, GAMs, and classified site data was used to assign vegetation groups to distinct topographic and soil patterns. This hybrid expert and modelling approach was approved and signed off by a review team of expert botanists including two independents, one NPWS representative and one SFNSW representative. Seventy-six distinct ecosystems have been mapped in the pre-1750 map for this sub-region. The extant map was derived from the pre-1750 map by cutting it to the extant vegetation. The extant vegetation layer incorporates the vegetated API polygons from the CRAFTI project, RN17 mapping, and remnants. Seventy-two distinct ecosystems have been mapped in the extant map for this sub-region. (VIS_ID 3792; ANZLIC: ANZNS0208000145)

Vegetation Survey of Weetalibah Nature Reserve VIS ID 1014
공공데이터포털
Vegetation map digitised from Porteners, M.F. (1998). The composition and extent of the present vegetation in Weetalibah Nature Reserve is described and mapped at 1:50 000 scale from quadrat samples, field traverses and aerial photograph interpretation. Three vegetation communities are described and 125 species (127 taxa) of vascular plants recorded from 38 families, several of which are at their north-western geographical limit or regionally restricted. One species is listed under Schedule 2 of the 1995 NSW Threatened Species Conservation Act." VIS_ID 1014
