Eastern Bushlands Database VIS ID 518
"Eastern Bushlands Database - Northern Region. Roberts, G. (1992). Vegetation systems of north east New South Wales: Mapped from Landsat TM imagery. NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service NEP 91 298. Broadscale Structural Vegetation mapping covering the eastern portion of NSW. The EBDB provides a broadscale management tool for conservation planning and decision making for purposes including stratifying field survey effort, regional planning, baseline estimation of clearing or regrowth rates, and as input to state-wide forest cover datasets. Data was captured as part of the Save the Bush funded Eastern Bushlands Database project. The dataset consists of three complete portions covering eastern NSW - Northern, Southern and Central. The three separate datasets are similar but not enough to enable combining of them. Data should not be used at scales finer than 1:250 000. Mapped using visual interpretation of Landsat TM satellite imagery. Attribute mapping includes structural vegetation information. Linework derived by visual interpretation of hardcopy Landsat TM imagery printed at 1:100 000. Polygons attributed by combination of visual interpretation and low intensity field work. Higher level of detail mapped in the Central Region, with a total of 53,592 polygons mapped (23,099 ,10 ha) as compared to the Southern Region (13,400 polygons mapped, 1,822 ,10 ha) and the Northern region (36,204 polygons mapped, 9,916 ,10 ha)." Western Regional Assessment API Vegetation Data VIS ID 1028
공공데이터포털
Map from Beckers, D. & Binns, D. (May 2000). Vegetation Survey and Mapping (Stage 1). NSW Western Regional Assessments. RACAC. ; API map of floristics in areas previously unmapped or requiring updated mapping within the BBS Bioregion. GIS based vegetation map at 1:50,000 scale of State Forests, National Parks estate and crown land within or directly adjacent to the Brigalow Belt South Bioregion (south of Narrabri), suitable for use in conservation and resource assessment, planning and management.; Existing mapping data assessed for suitability in meeting project objectives, by examining the floristic attributes, age of mapping and mapping methodology. 1,296 existing plots were documented from field surveys conducted between 1986 and 1999, with 474 new plots subsequently sampled in six planning areas. While the total number of plots analysed for the Bioregion was 1,264, the species lists were generated from a total of 2,554 available plots. (VIS ID 1028)

Existing Vegetation Mapping of the Western Division section of Walgett Shire, Northern Floodplains Far Western NSW VIS ID 1662
공공데이터포털
Existing Vegetation Mapping of the Walgett Shire, Northern Floodplains, Far Western New South Wales, Edition 3.; The vegetation communities of the north eastern section of Bourke Shire is a dataset that contains information about the distribution and status of existing and preclearing vegetation communities within the Northern Floodplains of Western NSW. ; The data was compiled to assist the community in the management of Native Vegetation through Regional Vegetation Management plans. The attribute data contains information on Floristics, Existing and Preclearing Vegetation Communities, Modification types and Regional statistics. The mapping was commissioned by the Northern Floodplains Regional Planning Committee in June 1997, compiled by DLWC Far West Region June 1997-December 2003 and funded by the Natural Heritage Trust, Environment Australia, DLWC and the MBDC NRMS strategy. This data set is one of a set three vegetation map products produced by the Northern Floodplains Regional Planning project. Preclearing and existing vegetation maps for the Western Division section of Brewarrina Shire and Bourke Shire are also complete and compatible with the Walgett map products.; ; VIS ID 1663
Cumberland State Forest, NSW, Regrowth of Compartments 8b, 9a and 9b. VAST- 2: Tracking Vegetation Transformation in Australian Vegetated Landscapes
공공데이터포털
The aim of this project is to compile land use and management practices and their observed and measured impacts and effects on vegetation condition. The results provide land managers and researchers with a tool for reporting and monitoring spatial and temporal transformations of Australia’s native vegetated landscapes due to changes in land use and management practices. Following are the details about the Cumberland State Forest, compartments 8b, 9a and 9b, NSW, Australia. Pre-European reference-analogue vegetation: the site was originally a wet sclerophyll forest found on Wianamatta group Ashfield Shale. Brief chronology of changes in land use and management: 1788: Area managed by indigenous Darug people 1788-1824: Region explored - un-modified native forest blue gum/ironbark on shale 1825: Parcel selected by shepherd 1826-1907: Grazing cattle on native pastures 1860: Tree cover likely to have been thinned - selective logging 1908: Commenced clearing patches of trees for improved pasture, chooks, orchards 1909-1937: Managed as improved pasture for grazing 1937-38: Purchased by NSW Forestry Commission 1941-42: Area cleared of remaining native forest trees 1946-73: Area managed for education and demonstration - regenerating native forest 1974-84: Area increasing managed for recreation - regenerating native forest 1985-2012: Area managed for recreation - regenerating native forest.
Western Australian Local Government Association - 2020 vegetation extent by administrative planning categories
공공데이터포털
This dataset categorises the 2020 native vegetation extent mapping by administrative categories relevant to local biodiversity conservation planning. It identifies ‘Local Natural Areas’, various categories of Parks and Wildlife Service managed lands, Regional Parks and Bush Forever. ‘Local Natural Areas’ are the focus of Local Biodiversity Strategies prepared in accordance of the Local Government Biodiversity Planning Guidelines (del Marco et al 2004).
