Kempsey LGA West Potential EECs 2007. VIS ID 375
GHD Pty Ltd (GHD) has been engaged by Kempsey Shire Council (KSC) to prepare a Vegetation Distribution Map and Endangered Ecological Communities Map for the portion of the Shire west of the Pacific Highway. A list of potential EECs identified as occurring within the Kempsey LGA was determined based on OEHs Threatened Species, Populations and Ecological Communities Profiles database correlated with structural and floristic composition. VIS_ID 375 Map footprint supplied only. Contact Kempsey Council for access to the vegetation map.

Kempsey LGA (Western Portion) Vegetation. VIS ID 244
공공데이터포털
Vegetation Distribution Map for the western portion of Kempsey Shire Council. Project undertaken by GHD consultants in 2007. The western portion is generally considered to be those lands within the shire boundary on the western side of the Pacific Highway.; ; The vegetation mapping was carried out using Landsat 5 TM (imagery taken between Dec 2004 and August 2005) scene and topographic variables as a basis for multi-variate statistical classification techniques. The image was 'seeded' with areas of known vegetation type 'samples', as determined by the field survey, from which spectral and topographic similarity was used to predict the presence of those types elsewhere in the image. A few iterations of model and map refinement and validation were then used to produce a final map that was then converted to the preferred GIS format for display.; ; VIS_ID 244
Wyong LGA Endangered Ecological Communities EECs Map 2009 VIS ID 3904
공공데이터포털
Endangered Ecological Communities (EECs) for Wyong LGA mapped by Stephen Bell in 2009. This data originates from the vegetation map of 2008 which included a "EEC Equivalent" field in the attribute table. Subsequent work was done on the EEC subset exported from the vegetation map by Council in 2009. The category names were changed, some areas removed and boundaries possibly modified. No documentation exists for this additional work. VIS_ID 3904 Map footprint supplied only. Contact Central Coast Council for access to the vegetation map.
Kempsey LGA (Eastern Portion) Vegetation. VIS ID 243
공공데이터포털
This polygon shapefile is a 1:25,000 vegetation mapping dataset combining 1999 CRAFTI and Forest Ecosystem mapping. Project undertaken by Kendall and Kendall Ecological Consultants and GECO Environmental for Kempsey Shire Council. The dataset covers the entire Macleay Coastal subcatchment (as per DLWC Stressed Rivers) and all areas south of this within the Kempsey LGA but east of the Pacific Highway. (VIS_ID 243)
Wingecarribee Fine-scale Native Vegetation Map (TECs) Version v2.1. VIS ID 4676 & 4677
공공데이터포털
The Wingecarribee Shire LGA Vegetation Mapping Project, a collaboration between the Council and the OEH State Vegetation Mapping Program, has produced three vegetation map products. These include the primary thematic layer in this dataset, which is a map of fine-scale scale Plant Community Type (PCT) (see VIS_ID 4670 https://datasets.seed.nsw.gov.au/dataset/wingecarribee-fine-scale-native-vegetation-map-version-v2-0-vis-id-4670), and two TEC layers described here in this metadata statement Version 2.0 of all three datasets underwent internal review during May and June 2017. Although the review has been completed, this version (2.1) is currently unavailable until the State Vegetation Type Map for coastal NSW is complete, due June 2019. These TEC surfaces are derived from the PCT mapping combined with expert rules that interpret the legal / ecological / geographical descriptions (Final Determinations and Listing/Conservation Advices). The ecological rules can be obtained upon request. These feature datsets include feature classes of the candidate extent of select TEC’s. The TEC_Ext surfaces are more extended surfaces than the standard TEC boundaries and are derived from the presence of relevant PCT’s occurring in the PCTID map surface as well as PCT’s occurring in the EnvPCT2 and EnvPCT3 fields (where modelled probability > 0.3). The EnvPCT2 and EnvPCT3 fields indicate the 2nd and 3rd mostly likely PCT in a polygon respectively according to the modelling. VIS_ID 4676; VIS_ID 4677
Lord Howe Island Vegetation Map 2016 VIS ID 4450
공공데이터포털
Fine scale vegetation communities mapped at 1:1,000 resolution across the Lord Howe Island Group (LHIG) are based on 2012, ADS40 digital aerial imagery captured at 10 cm resolution (LPI). The updated vegetation data and report will assist the LHI Board to better manage vegetation communities across the World Heritage Area, particularly within the settlement area where spatial accuracy in the delineation of native vegetation is critical and will assist and inform actions undertaken in delivering biodiversity management. Woody Extent Vegetation - Cessnock LGA. VIS ID 5123
공공데이터포털
The Department of Planning provides support to Local Government to enable evidence-based planning decisions. Biodiversity and Conservation Division collaborated with Cessnock City Council in 2021-2022 to deliver environmental map layers (Environmental Lands Study) that facilitate council’s review of their Local Environment Plan. This dataset is one of those and delineates woody vegetation at fine scale across the 196,468-hectare Cessnock Local Government Area (LGA). All tenures were mapped excluding National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) estate because they are formally reserved and protected under Local Environment Plans and were outside of the scope of the Environmental Lands Study. Data is in vector format and was produced to a scale range of 1:500 – 1:3000 and captures individual trees or shrubs with diameters down to 3m whilst excluding and eliminating shadow effects. The dataset is an accurate fine-scale baseline woody dataset for the Cessnock LGA that is current with the image dates of 2017-19 in the east and 2011 for a small area in the far west. From here on the layer will require maintenance and updating as landuse and landcover changes over time. However, the layer’s accuracy means that maintenance and update requirements are minimal in terms of mapping expertise and resources. Either field verified data or newer high-resolution imagery can be used to perform maintenance and updating of the layer.
Wyong LGA Vegetation Map, 2008. VIS ID 3807
공공데이터포털
Vegetation mapping for Wyong Local Government Area undertaken by Stephen Bell and Colin Driscoll in 2008. A revision of existing mapping for Wyong LGA completed in 1999 and 2002. Extensive and detailed data collection and API has been undertaken in Olney, Ourimbah and Wyong State Forests and used to produce a new vegetation map broadly based on the NPWS (2000) classification scheme. In addition, previous mapping projects, including those for Jilliby State Conservation Area, have been incorporated with new API of unmapped areas to produce a single seamless vegetation layer for western Wyong, covering 50 native vegetation map units. Avondale State Conservation Area Vegetation 2014 VIS ID 4706
공공데이터포털
Avondale State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2014 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Avondale State Conservation Area is located approximately 36 km north east of Armidale and is accessed via the Rockvale Road. The reserve occurs on eastern side of the central New England Tablelands. The vegetation of Avondale State Conservation Area is described and mapped (scale1:10 000) based on ADS40 Imagery (2012). Six floristic communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association) and seven Plant Community Types (VIS) are mapped. These six floristic communities and seven PCTs were mapped based on ground truthing, ADS40 interpretation and landform. Two Threatened Ecological Communities (TECs) were recognised and mapped also.
