Kindee Creek State Conservation Area Vegetation. VIS ID 5130.
Vegetation community mapping for Kindee Creek State Conservation Area, 2022. A North Coast NPWS Branch contract by Ecoplanning consultancy. The mapping identifies Plant Community Types (PCTs). Kindee Creek State Conservation Area (KCSCA) is located wholly within the NSW North Coast Botanical Region and covers an area of approximately 1,382 ha. The closet major centres are Wauchope to the east, Kempsey to the north-east and Walcha to the north-west. Formerly part of Mt Boss State Forest, Kindee Creek SCA was gazetted a state conservation area in 2018. The Vegetation Report is supplied with the spatial data for external use. Internally the report is located at P:\Corporate\Products\Vegetation\VegReserves\KindeeCreek. The actual name of the report is The Vegetation and Flora of Kindee Creek State Conservation Area. Koala Habitat Suitability Model for North East NSW
공공데이터포털
A habitat suitability model at a 250 m resolution for the Koala Phascolarctos cinereus in north-eastern New South Wales using ‘presence only’ records and MaxEnt modelling. Model extent was based on the extent of Crafti vegetation mapping for north east NSW. Substantial spatial clustering of records in coastal urban areas was reduced using a 2 km spatial filter and by modelling separately two sub-regions divided by the 500 m elevation contour. An average of 1086 occurrence records was used to develop models. A bias file was prepared that accounted for variable survey effort, including the concentration of Koala records along sealed and unsealed roads. A reduced set of 14 variables was used in model building. The models were evaluated using a test set of 25 % of the records, with a resulting good fit for each model, as measured by AUC. Frequency of wildfire, Australian Soil Classification, floristic mapping and elevation had the highest relative contribution to the model, whilst a number of other variables made minor contributions. The model was field validated at 65 ground-truth sites.

Avondale State Conservation Area Vegetation 2014 VIS ID 4706
공공데이터포털
Avondale State Conservation Area vegetation mapping was undertaken by Dr John T. Hunter in 2014 by contract for the NPWS Northern Tableland Region. Avondale State Conservation Area is located approximately 36 km north east of Armidale and is accessed via the Rockvale Road. The reserve occurs on eastern side of the central New England Tablelands. The vegetation of Avondale State Conservation Area is described and mapped (scale1:10 000) based on ADS40 Imagery (2012). Six floristic communities are defined based on classification (Kulczynski association) and seven Plant Community Types (VIS) are mapped. These six floristic communities and seven PCTs were mapped based on ground truthing, ADS40 interpretation and landform. Two Threatened Ecological Communities (TECs) were recognised and mapped also. Bullawa Creek State Conservation Area Vegetation Mapping. VIS ID 3989
공공데이터포털
Vegetation survey and mapping of Bullawa Creek State Conservation Area in 2008, commissioned by NPWS Narrabri Region. Three communities were determined based on floristic analysis of 20 x 20 m survey sites, and described using dominant species and structural characteristics. Vegetation communities were mapped using ground truthing, position in landscape and stereo interpretation of aerial photos captured at 1:50,000. Lineage and attribution accuracy are unknown. Vegetation of the Cessnock-Kurri Region - Extant VIS ID 183
공공데이터포털
A vegetation survey, classification and mapping program of the Cessnock-Kurri region was carried out during 2006-07 by Stephen Bell and Colin Driscoll. The survey was principally to clarify the composition and distribution of three Endangered Ecological Communities (EECs). Nearly 70000ha of land was examined between the foothills of the Watagan Range in the south, the Corrabare and Broken Back Ranges in the west, North Rothbury in the north, and the Wallis Creek floodplain in the east. The main aim of the study was to identify, classify and map all extant vegetation within the study area, as well as to provide a pre-1750 vegetation map of the area.; Vegetation Condition and Disturbed vegetation mapping components were also included, to assist in determining priorities for future rehabilitation of sensitive lands.
