A ferry terminal is a public transport facility where passengers can board or disembarking an on-water ferry vessel such as a CityCat, or CityFerry to be transported either across or along the Brisbane River. This point dataset depicts locations of ferry terminals in the Brisbane River between St Lucia and Hamilton which are used to load and unload passengers. To manage on-street parking demand, a number of traffic and parking control areas, and resident permit parking schemes are in place across the Brisbane City Council area. Traffic and parking control areas have signs installed on all entries indicating the area-wide parking conditions. Parking signs located on individual streets within the area override these conditions for days and times indicated on the sign. Residents’ and their visitors’ vehicles that have a valid permit are exempt from the area-wide parking conditions and signed parking restrictions which indicate ‘RESIDENT PERMIT EXCEPTED’. Resident permit parking schemes differ from traffic and parking control areas as parking signs are installed in individual streets indicating the parking conditions that apply. This dataset includes waterway drainage lines within the Brisbane City Council area represented by their centrelines. Waterways consist of a defined channel with a bed and banks that carry constant or intermittent flows of surface water. The land area draining to a waterway is defined as its catchment. These were modelled in 1994 to represent the length of waterways. To achieve a linear network, drainage lines are generated through waterbodies to connect upstream and downstream waterways. They do not represent the natural centreline.
