Rainforest Mapping for state-wide Victoria
This layer identifies areas mapped as rainforest communities across Victoria. It involved a combination of modelling, using Sentinel satellite composites, species distribution modelling and interpretation and interpretation of high resolution extent of Rainforest across Victoria, excluding the Strzelecki Ranges. Within the Strzelecki Ranges, extent and type have been modelled but these outputs are yet to be confirmedand checked against high resolution aerial photography. The layer identifies five classes of rainforest community: 1. Cool Temperate Rainforest 2. Dry Rainforest 3. Gallery Rainforest 4. Littoral Rainforest 5. Warm Termperate Rainforest

Structural Vegetation (1995)
공공데이터포털
Structural vegetation mapping of forest in Victoria based on the Land Conservation Council (LCC) vegetation classification scheme. The layer is independent of land tenure and is a combination of existing data from multiple sources (predominantly LCC) and primary mapping based on satellite image interpretation. Using histoirc 1:63,360 forest maps as a source.
Victorian Bioregions - Mapped at 1:100,000 (version 3.0 - May2004)
공공데이터포털
This dataset delineates Victorian biogeographic regions (Victorian bioregions) that capture the patterns of ecological characteristics in the landscape, providing a natural framework for recognising and responding to biodiversity values. Victorian bioregions form part of the national framework for the terrestrial environment, the Interim Biogeographic Regionalisation for Australia (IBRA). The boundaries are aligned with pre-1750 ecological vegetation class boundaries mapped at 1:100,000. The dataset upgrades the VBIOREGION250 dataset which was primarily based in 1:250,000 landsystem boundaries.
Forest Cover of Victoria in 1869
공공데이터포털
This layer delineates the extent of Forest Cover in Victoria in 1869 based on a historial map prepared by William Slight under the direction of R.Bough-Smyth FGS in 1866 and revised by A.Everett in 1869.
Forest Cover Changes in Victoria from 1972 to 1987
공공데이터포털
This layer identifies Forest Cover Changes in Victoria from 1972 to 1987. Forest Cover is defined as woody vegetation greater than 2 metres in height and with crown cover (foliar density) greater than 10%. The smallest unit of forest mapped was fifteen (15) hectares.
Forest Types of Victoria
공공데이터포털
Polygon coverage delineating Victorian forest types. Key attributes referenced through a forest type code include dominant and two associated species, maximum and minimum height, and maximum and minimum projective foliage cover.
Modelled Forest Classes
공공데이터포털
This layer identifies categories of modelled forest categories determined through an analysis of readily available authoritative forest disturbance datasets on public land. The dataset identifies areas likely to contain old-growth forest, amongst other forest categories.
Rainforest Mapping for NE NSW. VIS ID 3887
공공데이터포털
Rainforest Polygons, Lines and Points collated during and after the Comprehensive Regional Assessment process. ; ; Rainforest Polygons were extracted from the Successional Stages layer which was a product of the CRAFTI 2000 project; that updated CRA layers used in the RFA negotiations for UNE and LNE. Both Floristics & Structure have been updated as part of the CRAFTI 2000 project and hence feed into creating successional stage data. The data represents the most up to date layers for Successional Stages (ie. Old Growth, Rainforest etc) as of April 2002.; ; Rainforest Lines contain narrow patches of rainforest that were less than fifty metres wide and more than two hundred metres long which were captured into a line location dataset.; ; Rainforest Points contains areas of rainforest less than two hectares which were captured as a point with an alphabet code string delineating rainforest or dry rainforest.; ; To display the most up to date and comprehensive rainforest you must display all three files.; ; NB. Because CRAFTI includes other veg mapping, where other mapping was already completed, (eg. RN17 Forest Type mapping, NRAC veg mapping) the rainforest layer is also a combination of that mapping. Connell Rainforest Plot Network: Plot Details - Spatial Coordinates, Dinden National Park and Lamington National Park, Queensland, Australia
공공데이터포털
This package contains location data for two long-term forest dynamic plots established in 1963 by Professor Joseph H. Connell (University of California, Santa Barbara): one plot in tropical rainforest in Davies Creek in Dinden National Park (1.7 ha, 25 km southwest of Cairns) another in subtropical rainforest near O'Reilly's Guest House in Lamington National Park (2 ha, 65 km south of Brisbane). The Davies Creek plot was put in over an existing 0.4-ha plot established by the Queensland Department of Forestry in 1951, so the central part of the Davies Creek Plot has records extending back more than six decades. This plot was originally an untreated 'control' site against which the effects of various silvicultural treatments could be assessed, so this site has never been logged or thinned. The O'Reilly's plot consists of two 1-ha plots spaced approximately 600 m apart, but for analyses they have always been treated as a single unit. This plot has never been logged, but some selective logging has occurred just outside the plot boundary. See Connell Rainforest Plot Network’s full program provided at http://www.ltern.org.au/index.php/ltern-plot-networks/connell-rainforest for further details.
Modelled old-growth forest
공공데이터포털
The MOG spatial dataset shows the modelled extent of Old Growth Forest in Victoria. This spatial layer is based on the MOG2009, with reduced extent based on disturbances from fire and timber harvesting up to July 2018. Coming soon - The addition of Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) data for parts of the Central Highlands and East Gippsland will be added progressively through 2019-20. The addition of these LiDAR derived classifications to the MOG dataset, will provide Victoria's most complete and up to date assessment of Victoria's modelled old growth forest extent.
