RV Investigator Voyage IN2016 V01 ME70 Echosounder Data
This record describes ME 70 scientific multibeam echosounder data collected on RV Investigator voyage IN2016_V01, 'HEOBI: Heard Earth-Ocean-Biosphere Interactions' which departed Fremantle on the 8th January 2016 and returned to Hobart on the 27th February 2016. The Simrad ME70 scientific multibeam echosounder acquired acoustic backscatter data through the water column. The echosounder's frequency range is from 70 kHz to 120 kHz.
