Vicmap Transport - Road Register Line
TR_ROAD_REGISTER forms the basis of the road register for Victoria. Road segements (TR_ROAD) are grouped by road name, road type, road suffix and locality using the TR_ROAD_LOCALITY_SECTION and TR_ROAD_LOCALITY tables to create a single line feature for each unique combination of values. This dataset compliments TR_ROAD. Where a road segement has multiple names, TR_ROAD_REGISTER will have multiple overlappling road lines while TR_ROAD will have one road with multiple names. TR_ROAD_REGISTER facilitates road searching and efficent road name lablelling. In addition the dataset has an atttribute MIN_CLASS_CODE which is the the minimum CLASS_CODE for all TR_ROAD road lines that have the unique cominbination of identifer vaules. For example, if the road segments associated with the unique road identifer have CLASS_CODES of 0 (Freeway), 1 (Highway) and 2 (Arterial), the MIN_CLASS_CODE of that road will be 0 (Freeway). This value faciliates feature filtering at different scales and symbolisation.

Vicmap Transport - Road Infrastructure and Paper Road Infrastructure Point
공공데이터포털
This layer is a superset of the Vicmap Transport TR_ROAD_INFRASTRUCTURE dataset. TR_ROAD_INFRASTRUCTURE delineates road infrastructure features including bridges, tunnels, gates, cattle grids, barrirers, level crossings, roundabouts and intersections. In addition, this dataset includes paper road nodes (feature_type_code = 'paper_node'). Paper roads exist only on paper, such as a plan of subdivision, and are unlikely to be ever built due to planning restrictions. However, some councils hold addresses and property information against these paper roads. Paper nodes have been created to conform with the Vicmap Transport business rules and are of no interest to almost all customers. Most users needs will be met by the TR_ROAD_INFRASTRUCTURE dataset.
Vicmap Transport - Road and Paper Road Line
공공데이터포털
This layer is a superset of the Vicmap TR_ROAD dataset; the latter dataset that is part of Vicmap Transport. It is an extensive digital road network - line features delineating state wide road network. In addtion to all features contained in TR_ROAD; bridges, connectors, footbridges, foot tracks, roads, roundabouts & tunnels, it also includes paper roads to provide a complete road name register. Paper roads (feature_type_code 'paper_road') exist only on paper, such as a plan of subdivision, and are unlikely to be ever built due to planning restrictions. However, some councils hold addresses and property information against these paper roads. Currently it is not possible to differentiate between addresses who have an incorrect road name and paper road names. Attribution includes names, alias names, feature_type, class, direction, locality, unique feature identification, suburb/locality. See documentation for Vicmap TR_ROAD for most information about this dataset.

Vicmap Transport
공공데이터포털
Vicmap Transport represents the transport network of the state of Victoria and is made up of point, line and polygon area features in a seamless and topologically structured data set. It is comprised of a basic framework of linear features supplemented by related point and node and polygon features providing the supplementary data supporting the transport network over the topographic and demographic landscape. Further classification and description of real world features is provided by attribute tables, which add specific description and definition to each feature supported by code lists that can be used for analysis and individual identification. The following transport features are fundamental to this data set series: - Road network - freeway, highway, arterial, 2wd, 4wd, bicycle and walking tracks. - Road related structures - including fords, bridges, tunnels, gates, intersections, roundabouts, barriers, rail crossings; - Ferry routes; - Rail network, railway yard, tramway, railway bridge, railway tunnel; - Rail related structures - including railway sidings, stations, railway bridges, railway tunnels; - Tramway network; - Air related structures - including (major) airport extents, runways, landing strips, helipads Vicmap Transport is a combination of a number of data sets that are a part of the Vicmap suite of products. Datasets in the series are listed below. See their metadata entries for more detailed metadata. - Airport Area (polygon) - Vicmap Transport (TR_AIRPORT_AREA_POLYGON); - Airport Infrastructure - Vicmap Transport (TR_AIRPORT_INFRASTRUCTURE); - Airport Infrastucture Area (polygon) - Vicmap Transport (TR_AIR_INFRA_AREA_POLYGON); - Airport Infrastucture Point - Vicmap Transport (TR_AIR_INFRA_POINT); - Rail Network - Vicmap Transport (TR_RAIL); - Rail Infrastructure - Vicmap Transport (TR_RAIL_INFRASTRUCTURE); - Road Network - Vicmap Transport (TR_ROAD); - Road Infrastructure - Vicmap Transport (TR_ROAD_INFRASTRUCTURE); - Road Locality (grouped by road name, road type, road suffix and locality) (TR_ROAD_REGISTER)

Vicmap Land Administration Themes - Government Road Polygon
공공데이터포털
Part of the VLAT dataset series. This dataset plays a key role in the management of Victoria's Crown land. It is being created (June 2003 - Feb 2004) from migrating LCMP layers into the Vicmap structure. At this stage it does not cover Metropolitan Melbourne. The layer provides information about Crown Roads. This dataset s a raw superset of GOV_ROAD_POLYGON. It shows the current and retired states of each feature instance. It supports feature versioning (UFI_RETIRED) and enables feature edting chaining (UFI_OLD). The dataset is continually maintained, obtaining maintenance from authoritative sources within State Government. VLAT_GOV_ROAD_POLYGON is a polygon layer depicting Government Roads including roads as laid out on Parish Plans & proclaimed as Road in Government Gazettes. The Vicmap Parcel and VM_CROWN_SIMPLE layer is also recording "G" CROWN_STATUS Parcels that are Government Roads parcelled by the Crown Land Registry unit.
Vicmap Planning
공공데이터포털
Vicmap Planning is the map data representing the land use zone and overlay controls for all Victorian planning schemes. Planning schemes cover the 79 local government areas and three other areas in Victoria. Planning schemes are regularly amended, and Vicmap Planning is continually updated to reflect the official planning scheme at any time. Datasets in the series are listed below. See them for more detailed metadata. - Planning scheme zones - Vicmap Planning (VMPLAN_PLAN_ZONE); - Planning scheme overlay - Vicmap Planning (VMPLAN_PLAN_OVERLAY); - Planning scheme Urban Growth Boundary - Vicmap Planning (VMPLAN_PLAN_UGB); - Planning scheme Urban Growth Area - Vicmap Planning (VMPLAN_PLAN_UGA); - Planning scheme codelist - Vicmap Planning (VMPLAN_PLAN_CODELIST) Current data model is Version 3.0.1
Department of Transport and Planning - DTP Managed Roads
공공데이터포털
This data informs which major roads in Victoria are classified as freeways, arterial roads and non-arterial state roads. ‘DTP Managed Roads’ are roads which are managed by DTP on behalf of Head, Transport for Victoria who is the Coordinating Road Authority under the Road Management Act 2004. It also includes Freeways operating as toll roads (such as CityLink and EastLink Tollways) and are managed by other Coordinating Road Authorities.
