Western Australian Museum - Shipwreck Database
A database was created by the WA Museum to provide easy access to information on more than 1450 documented shipwrecks in Western Australian waters. The database contains shipwrecks dating from 1622 and can be searched by: - name, - date, - type of vessel, - found/not found, - builder, - master, - owner, - region, or - any related keyword.

Jeremy Green - Shipwrecks (WAM-002)
공공데이터포털
The Maritime Archaeology shipwreck database contains information and details on Western Australian shipwrecks recorded by the Western Australian Museum. Within the shipwreck database there are records and details for over 1650 Western Australian shipwrecks, including the Batavia, SS Xantho and Zuytdorp.
Dept of Environment, Water and Natural Resources - Shipwreck and Relic Images
공공데이터포털
This dataset includes over 2000 images of shipwrecks and shipwreck relics which provides a unique insight into the State's maritime history. In addition to the images the dataset includes an extract from the South Australian Register of Historic Shipwrecks. The database includes all known shipwrecks located in South Australian and Australian waters adjacent to South Australia. It includes information pertaining to Historic Shipwreck and Historic Relics as described under the (Commonwealth) Historic Shipwrecks Act 1976 and the (South Australian) Historic Shipwrecks Act 1981. The dataset includes shipwrecks that have not yet been declared under either of these Acts. Filtering may take place to restrict the location of sensitive shipwrecks where condition assessments are pending. The Maritime Register (XML) contains the image URL which can be matched to the image name. The register also includes the shipwreck name, historical background, description of the relic, location of the shipwreck and other details. See also: https://data.sa.gov.au/data/dataset/shipwrecks

Author Not Specified - WAMSI 2 - Dredging Node - Project 4.2 - Defining Thresholds and Indicators of Coral Response to Dredging Related Pressures - WATER QUALITY, Western Australia
공공데이터포털
Data is in the form of a Microsoft Access database, showing the original data together with site information (GPS coordinates), date collected. Data is also in the form of a report, which will be a secured (printable, non-editable), searchable, Portable Document Format (PDF) showing the results of the analyses. The aim of the Western Australian Marine Science Institution (WAMSI) DREDGING SCIENCE NODE Project 4.2, is to thoroughly characterise how dredging activities alters reef water quality (i.e. total suspended solids levels (TSS), underwater light levels and photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) i.e. (light attenuation) in terms of temporal and spatial characteristics (including spectral analyses of temporal patterns) and how the nature of dredging-related turbidity events differs from natural turbidity events in terms of intensity, duration and frequency. The results are valuable for future experiments and the design of more environmentally realistic laboratory-based, ex situ studies of the effects of turbidity and light reduction on reef biota. Together with analyses of the effects of these dredging projects on the underlying reef communities the data are important for developing water quality thresholds for dredging projects and to improve the ability to predict and manage the impact of future projects. Data used to conduct these analyses was from three Dredging projects conducted in the Pilbara region of Western Australia using in situ water quality instrumentation from 3 large scale capital dredging projects referred to below by their location and Federal Ministerial Approval Statement (MS757, MS800, MS840), which are searchable on the WA EPA website: http://www.epa.wa.gov.au).

State Library of Western Australia - WABI subset: York
공공데이터포털
1859 York district Census. Entry is by name of person, Place of occupation, age, religion, occupation, literacy, arrival ship and date. Details of marriage, wife and children and employer are given. The Western Australian Biographical Index (WABI) is a highly used resource at the State Library of Western Australia. A recent generous contribution by the Friends of Battye Library (FOBS) has enabled SLWA to have the original handwritten index cards scanned and later transcribed. The dataset contains: several csv files with data describing card number, card text and url link to image of the original handwritten card. The transcription was crowd-sourced and we are aware that there are some data quality issues including: * Some cards are missing * Transcripts are crowdsourced so may contain spelling errors and possibly missing information * Some cards are crossed out. Some of these are included in the collection and some are not * Some of the cards contain relevant information on the back (usually children of the person mentioned). This info should be on the next consecutive card * As the information is an index, collected in the 1970s from print material, it is incomplete. It is also unreferenced. It is still a very valuable dataset as it contains a wealth of information about early settlers in Western Australia. It is of particular interest to genealogists and historians
