Agreements Between Canada and the Region of the North Pacific Ocean

This group of fisheries agreements relates to international cooperation for the conservation and management of high seas fisheries resources in the North Pacific Ocean. It includes the Convention on the Conservation and Management of High Seas Fisheries Resources in the North Pacific Ocean (NPO Convention) and an amendment to the annex of the International Convention for the High Seas Fisheries of the North Pacific Ocean. Together, these instruments establish and update multilateral frameworks to support sustainable fisheries, science‑based management, and cooperation among participating parties.
