This dataset contains the geographic location of Ontario’s certified examiners. They are trained and certified to provide non-emergency, on-farm slaughter services as determined by Ontario's Meat Regulation ([O. Reg. 31/05](https://www.ontario.ca/laws/regulation/r05031) under the [Food Safety and Quality Act, 2001](https://www.ontario.ca/laws/statute/01f20)). This spatial dataset represents the boundaries of the areas of responsibility for aggregate inspectors working on behalf of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. In southern Ontario, inspectors may use various criteria to determine their area of responsibility, including: * geographic township boundaries * the number of licences and permits in a given area * geographic size In northern Ontario, areas of responsibility generally follow MNRF district boundaries. The Agricultural Resource Inventory 1983 (ARI 1983) dataset includes agricultural land use and drainage systems information. This dataset evaluates the mix of crops and classifies them into different categories which are valid over a long period of time. Mapping these systems provides an overview of the location, quantity and quality of the use of agricultural land in southern Ontario. Used by farmers, land use planners, municipal officials, policy makers and the general public. This dataset is no longer collected or maintained.
