CTD, Oxygen, Fluorescence, Turbidity, and others collected in the DeSoto Canyon and Shelf, Gulf of Mexico, on the Weatherbird II-1411 cruise 2014-05 to 2014-06 (NCEI Accession 0159187)
공공데이터포털
This multidisciplinary cruise will occupy sites for collection of multicores, CTD/Rosette bottom imaging transects, and piston coring. The cruise will depart St. Petersburg morning of 5/29. Most of the science party will disembark in Panama City FL on 6/11. Sampling will consist of a CTD cast with water sampling as required, followed by three successful lowerings of the multicore (MUC). After completing multicore sampling, a 4-h transect with the MILET imaging platform will be completed. At selected sites, bongo tows and piston cores will be collected. Stations may be adjusted during the cruise at the discretion of the CSOB and Captain depending on water depth and accessibility. Any major changes in cruise plan to station location will be reported immediately to the FIO office.

공공데이터포털
This dataset contains fish data collected using fish traps and demersal longlines and includes biological data, for some species, such as length and weights. Additional data include the dates, set locations (latitudes, longitudes), depth, water temperature, gear deployed and bait used. These data were collected during the R/V Apalachee cruise AP-1509 on July 1 to July 9, 2015. The objectives of this project included to describe and examine differences in species assemblage and relative abundance of demersal fishes in the Gulf of Mexico.
