CTD, Oxygen, Fluorescence, Turbidity, and others collected in the DeSoto Canyon and Shelf, Gulf of Mexico, on the Weatherbird II-1411 cruise 2014-05 to 2014-06 (NCEI Accession 0159187)
This multidisciplinary cruise will occupy sites for collection of multicores, CTD/Rosette bottom imaging transects, and piston coring. The cruise will depart St. Petersburg morning of 5/29. Most of the science party will disembark in Panama City FL on 6/11. Sampling will consist of a CTD cast with water sampling as required, followed by three successful lowerings of the multicore (MUC). After completing multicore sampling, a 4-h transect with the MILET imaging platform will be completed. At selected sites, bongo tows and piston cores will be collected. Stations may be adjusted during the cruise at the discretion of the CSOB and Captain depending on water depth and accessibility. Any major changes in cruise plan to station location will be reported immediately to the FIO office.

Leg 2 will return to Panama City at 08:00 7 October. Equipment requested from FIO: CTD-Rosette, 12kHz depth profiling display, 50x50cm box-core (back-up). Equipment requested from USF: 8-barrel multicore and core-processing equipment (Hollander), USBL system (Locker), chest freezer. Equipment provided by FSU: MILET photo platform. Leg 1 will prioritize photo survey of all sites with selected multicore collections at the shallow (< 1000m sites). Leg 2 will prioritize multicore and water sample collections with no scheduled seafloor imaging. This dataset contains the data from the CTD casts for this cruise.
NRDA-processed CTD data from the WEATHERBIRD II in the Gulf of Mexico, Cruise 1 Leg 1, collected from 2010-05-06 to 2010-05-12, associated with the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill event (NCEI Accession 0130282)
공공데이터포털
Conductivity Temperature and Depth (CTD) measurements were collected aboard R/V Weatherbird II to determine physical oceanographic parameters of the water column, and in some cases used to help guide sample collection as part of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill sampling effort. Temperature, conductivity/salinity, depth, dissolved oxygen, and fluorometry data were collected onboard the Weatherbird II, Cruise 01. The final product is a series of NetCDF files containing every CTD cast that has been processed and quality checked.

공공데이터포털
This dataset contains CTD, water quality and particle and zooplankton sample elemental (total C and N, C/N ratio) and isotopic (delta 13C, delta 15N) data collected during R/V Endeavor cruise EN496 in the northern Gulf of Mexico from 2011-07-03 to 2011-07-26. Particle and zooplankton samples were collected during cruise EN496 using a CTD-rosette and a MOCNESS. The objectives were to collect water column and benthic samples in the vicinity of the Mississippi River Plume, as well as, at/near active seeps. Elemental and isotopic data were collected at 18 stations, while CTD profiles were done at 51 locations. Elemental and isotopic data includes the delta 13C and 15N, total Nitrogen and Carbon and the C/N ratio. Hydrographic data was collected using a Sea-Bird SBE-9 and the data includes temperature, salinity, oxygen concentration, sound velocity, beam attenuation and transmission, sea level, Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR), fluorescence and surface irradiance.
