Fish/shellfish survey data from SMALL BOATS in the Gulf of Alaska from 1993-08-12 to 1994-08-19 (NCEI Accession 9700023)
This dataset includes fish/shellfish survey data collected from small boats in the Gulf of Alaska from August 12, 1993, to August 19, 1994. These data were collected by Brenda Norcross of University of Alaska Institute of Marine Science. Data has been processed to the NODC standard Fish/Shellfish Surveys (F123) format. The F123 format is used for data from field sampling of marine fish and shellfish. The data derive from analysis of midwater or bottom tow catches and provide information on population density and distribution. Cruise information, position, date, time, gear type, fishing distance and duration, and number of hauls are reported for each survey. Environmental data may include meteorological conditions, surface and bottom temperature and salinity, and current direction and speed. Bottom trawl or other gear dimensions and characteristics are also reported. Catch statistics (e.g., weight, volume, number of fish per unit volume) may be reported for both total haul and for individual species. Biological characteristics of selected specimens, predator/ prey information (from stomach contents analysis), and growth data may also be included. A text record is available for comment.

Water temperature, salinity, and other data from LITTLE DIPPER in Gulf of Alaska from 1995-03-01 to 1998-02-06 (NCEI Accession 9800027)
공공데이터포털
The Institute of Marine Science, University of Alaska is responsible for this data collected on R/V Little Dipper cruises LO37-LO56 from 03/01/95 to 02/06/98 by Dr. Tom Royer of the Institute of Marine Science. The data was collected for the "Oceanographic Time Series in North Pacific" project funded by NOAA, Grant No. NA90AA-D-AC805. There was a total of 2 stations in the Resurrection Bay and Gulf of Alaska area. Data has been processed to the NODC standard High-Resolution STD/CTD Data (F022) format. The F022 format contains high-resolution data collected using CTD (conductivity-temperature-depth) and STD (salinity-temperature-depth) instruments. As they are lowered and raised in the oceans, these electronic devices provide nearly continuous profiles of temperature, salinity, and other parameters. Data values may be subject to averaging or filtering or obtained by interpolation and may be reported at depth intervals as fine as 1m. Cruise and instrument information, position, date, time and sampling interval are reported for each station. Environmental data at the time of the cast (meteorological and sea surface conditions) may also be reported. The data record comprises values of temperature, salinity or conductivity, density (computed sigma-t), and possibly dissolved oxygen or transmissivity at specified depth or pressure levels. Data may be reported at either equally or unequally spaced depth or pressure intervals. A text record is available for comments.

Fish species, Fish biomass, Fishery survey, invertebrate species, and other variables collected from midwater net tows, and bottom trawl observations using net, trawl, and other instruments from the Arctic Ocean, and Beaufort Sea from August 6, 2008 to August 21, 2008 (NCEI Accession 0112823)
공공데이터포털
The Alaska Fisheries Science Center's Status of Stocks and Multispecies Assessment (SSMA) Programs Fishery Interaction Team (FIT) conducted a fish survey in the marine offshore waters of the Beaufort Sea during the month of August, 2008. The Mineral Management Service (MMS) provided funding for the survey. The results of the survey provided estimates of abundance, species composition and biological information of marine fish and invertebrates, oceanographic properties and information on the macro- and micro- zooplankton communities.

공공데이터포털
Physical, current, and other data were collected from FIXED PLATFORMS in the Gulf of Alaska from 31 March 2000 to 19 September 2001. Data were collected by the Pacific Marine Environmental Laboratory (PMEL) in support of the Fisheries Oceanography Coordination Investigations (FOCI) Program. Physical data include temperature, salinity, pressure, and conductivity. Current data include current direction, current speed, zonal current velocity, and meridional current velocity.
NMFS groundfish, bottom trawl survey, sea temperature, salinity, and other data from numerous platforms in the Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and coastal waters of Alaska from 1976-08-09 to 1998-02-07 (NCEI Accession 9800168)
공공데이터포털
This dataset contains primarily sea temperatures data and salinity records resultant from NMFS Alaska Fisheries Science Center groundfish bottom trawl surveys, Bering Sea, Gulf of Alaska and U.S. west coast surveys, from approx. Aug. 1976 to Sept. 1997. The records in the file EVENT.LST tie directly to the records in the file PROFILE.LST, keying on vessel, cruise and event. Also, the PROFILE.LST cruises are in no particular order, for example, the data records begin with a 1982 Bering Sea cruise made by the vessel Pat San Marie. The files are ASCII text and were extracted from the NMFS RACEBase Oracle data base.
