Sea turtle population study in the coastal waters of North Carolina from 1988-06-07 to 2015-09-22 (NCEI Accession 0162846)
공공데이터포털
This data set contains sea turtle length and weight measurements, sex ratios, species composition, capture and release locations, tagging information, and information on biological samples collected for loggerhead, green, and Kemp's Ridley sea turtle populations in the coastal waters of North Carolina. Sea turtles were double-tagged with Inconel Style 681 tags (National Band and Tag Company, Newport, Kentucky, USA) applied to the trailing edge of each rear flipper. Beginning in 1995, all turtles were additionally tagged with 125 kHz unencrypted Passive Integrated Transponder (PIT) tags (Destron-Fearing Corp., South St. Paul, Minnesota, USA), injected subcutaneously above the second-most proximal scale of the trailing margin of the left front flipper to ensure identification of the turtle in the event that both Inconel tags were lost. SCL and CCL (notch-to-tip and notch-to-notch) along with SCW and CCW were measured and recorded to the nearest 0.1 cm. Blood samples were collected from the dorsal cervical sinus of the turtle, and skin samples were collected from the trailing edge of the rear flippers. Scute scrapings were collected from the edge of the carapace
Telemetry data and movement patterns for sea turtles tagged near Cape Lookout, North Carolina from 2007-05-11 to 2015-05-15 (NCEI Accession 0162439)
공공데이터포털
Seasonal capture efforts were conducted to evaluate patterns of catch rates, species and size compisition. Acoustic and satellite telemetry were used to evaluate residency, movements, and dive behavior. AUV-borne sidescan sonar surveys were conducted at the peak of sea turtle abundance on the spring.
Investigation of Immature Sea Turtles in the Coastal Waters of West Florida (NCEI Accession 0156706)
공공데이터포털
To survey immature sea turtles that inhabit the Ten Thousand Islands. Program funding came from South Florida Ecosystem Restoration. This project provided base-line data on the distribution and abundance of threatened and endangered sea turtles prior to the proposed redirection of Everglades fresh water flow. Tagging data are located on hard copy and electronic versions on CD. They are not posted on the host server. A condensed version of these data was also submitted to the Cooperative Marine Turtle Tagging Data Base (CMTTP) administered by the University of Florida, Gainesville, FL.

Sea Turtle Satellite Telemetry Data in North Atlantic Ocean from 2007-10-16 to 2010-11-26 (NCEI Accession 0159216)
공공데이터포털
Sea turtles captured in various fishing gear (pound nets, long haul seines, gill nets) were outfitted with satellite transmitters so that their movements, migratory pathways and foraging behavior could be tracked. Despite their greater expense, satellite transmitters enable the researcher to determine long-range movements of sea turtles in comparison to acoustic and radio transmitters which delineate fine scale movements and habitat preferences. Furthermore, satellite transmitters have the capability of measuring and recording water temperature along with dive depth and duration of each tagged sea turtle. Finally, time spent on the surface can be measured and recorded.

Summary of recreational hook and line caught sea turtles documented by the NOAA Galveston Laboratory
공공데이터포털
The database is a summary of sea turtles that are hook and line captured by recreational anglers in the region covered by the NOAA Galveston Laboratory through its work as the local representative of the Southeast Fisheries Science Centers Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network. The database cotains: morphometric data on sea turtles caught type of gear on which sea turtle was caught whether the sea turtle was rehabilitated and released or died tag information.
