2015 NSDUH Field Statistical Experience Report
The goal of this report is to further document the 2015 NSDUH sample experiences, including a comparison of actual sample yields to state and quarter targets, a comparison of achieved and expected design effects (DEFFs) and relative standard errors (RSEs), and documentation of any issues encountered during sample implementation.

NSDUH 2019 Sample Experience Report
공공데이터포털
The goal of this report is to further document the 2019 NSDUH sample experiences, including a comparison of actual sample yields to state and quarter targets, a comparison of achieved and expected design effects (DEFFs) and relative standard errors, and documentation of any issue encountered during sample implementation. The 2019 sample design is thoroughly documented in the 2019 NSDUH sample design report (Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality, 2020).
NSDUH 2018 Sample Experience Report
공공데이터포털
The goal of this report is to further document the 2018 NSDUH sample experiences, including a comparison of actual sample yields to state and quarter targets, a comparison of achieved and expected design effects (DEFFs) and relative standard errors, and documentation of any issue encountered during sample implementation. The 2018 sample design is thoroughly documented in the 2018 NSDUH sample design report (Center for Behavioral Health Statistics and Quality, 2019a).
2016 Sample Experience Report
공공데이터포털
The goal of this report is to further document the 2016 NSDUH sample experiences, including a comparison of actual sample yields to state and quarter targets, a comparison of achieved and expected design effects (DEFFs) and relative standard errors (RSEs), and documentation of any issues encountered during sample implementation (none in 2016).
NSDUH 2019 Sample Design Report
공공데이터포털
This report details the 2019 sample design for the NSDUH and covers the design overview, target population, and stages of sample selection. The design overview describes how the sample design remains consistent with NSDUH’s designs since 1991 and has extended coverage of the sample since then to include additional resident populations. The 2019 target population for this report comprises a civilian, noninstitutionalized population aged 12 years or older residing within the 50 states and the District of Columbia. There are three stages of sample selection that are explained in terms of how to select and aggregate the appropriate census tracts and segments based on state sampling regions (SSRs) for each state.
2016 NSDUH Data Collection Final Report
공공데이터포털
The report addresses the following topics relating to data collection for the 2016 NSDUH: Sampling and Counting and Listing Operations, Data Collection Staffing,Preparation of Survey Materials, Field Staff Training, Data Collection, Data Collection Results, and Quality Control.
NSDUH 2018 Data Collection Final Report
공공데이터포털
This report describes tasks relating to data collection for the 2018 NSDUH: Sampling and Counting and Listing Operations, Data Collection Staffing, Preparation of Survey Materials, Field Staff Training, Data Collection, Data Collection Results, and Quality Control.
2015 NSDUH: Methodological Resource Book Section 2: Sample Design Report
공공데이터포털
This report describes the sampling design for the 2015 NSDUH.
2012 NSDUH Sampling Error Report
공공데이터포털
This report compares the estimated (or realized) precisions of a key set of estimates with the targets for the 2012 National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH). The report provides an overall of the 2012 sample design, describes relative standard errors and design effects, and the use of domain specific design effects for approximating standard error.
2015 NSDUH Editing and Imputation Report
공공데이터포털
This report describes in detail the editing and imputation task for the 2015 NSDUH.
NSDUH 2021 Sample Experience Report
공공데이터포털
This report is a continuation of the 2021National Survey on Drug Use and Health (NSDUH) Sample Design Report. It further documents the 2021 NSDUH sample experiences, by comparing expected outcomes with what actually occurred, and documenting unexpected issues that came up during the year. The report also summarizes the information about the sample design that is more thoroughly detailed in the previous report.Chapter 1 introduces the report and summarizes the impact of the coronavirus 2019 pandemic on the sample design and data collection. Chapter 2 revisits the 2021 sample design. Chapters 3, 4, and 5 document the sample experiences at the third, fourth, and fifth stages of sample selection, respectively. Finally, Chapter 6 compares the observed and expected precisions, and also examines trends in average design effects over time. The document is available as a PDF.
